Excited to see what Richland does. They have mostly juniors (1 senior) with size and speed .. Get to see what they have early with games vs ER , Clay, Pickett, Loretto, and a very tough (at least over the summer) Mt Pleasant.. With the work in the weight room in the off season, at least they won’t get pushed around this year.

Don’t really want to get in the middle of this one, but was exactly the case last Friday in lynnville.. I think 66 and 9 played head games with our kids from the start and we didn’t respond well and forgot all about playing football..

You give me hope that I won’t have to hold so much ill will toward the pup faithful..

Great plan by Corn coach. Game started very positive for the raiders (for 3 plays) . The long 3rd down pickup on the opening drive set the tone for this one : Ben was great statistically but I feel like any of the backs could have had those numbers last night.. The O line dominated .. Woodard was on point with his passes almost all night. Even when incomplete it was so close (or dropped) Raiders seemed more intent on Fighting than playing the game . Disappointed all the way around last night . Still love my boys but last night will haunt til basketball season at least..

Nah,, maybe we just back where we been .. Disappointing game is an understatement. And that’s nothing against Ciorn boys ..

Pups came to play. I couldn’t take it anymore and threw in the towel (on my way out the gate).. Only 1 team came to play and it wasn’t the home team. Congrats

I got an early start on this thread but it’s finally here . I’m gonna go with Richland of course.. IMO Cville is not going to be able to handle the line of scrimmage . Ben could break some runs which could keep them in it , but I got the Raiders will be too much in the end .. 34-14

Pretty much sums up what I was getting at..

As a proud Raider fan , this is what confuses me. Why would we go at a 5A school who has been down for a decade (at least) because they played a 1A school that has been down for 2 decades.. The game itself was great, both teams fought til the final whistle . Both teams missed big chances to make a play at times.. Both teams had big defensive stands inside the 20 .. Just can’t understand what the amount of coaches or making it seem that nothing was accomplished by the win. It’s HS football .. Congratulate a team on a W and take your (our) L like a big boy and get back after it

Started tonight with Corn losing a heartbreaker to MC.. MC now plays City and Eagleville will play Huntland. At Cville I believe

Very much enjoyed 28 minutes if this one ( first 4 minutes were a little scary). Loved the way the young men from ER handled themselves and played hard . Elijah is a difference maker for sure but I liked watching the effort from 21.. Hoping we can play well enough the next 2 weeks to make this rematch happen
