I am from West Clarksville, and yes, Visor Man coached (if that is what you want to call it) my son. In fact, let me tell you what else he did. He ruined my son's love for football. He was the most arrogant, critical non-coach. He wanted all glory and NO blame. Even after so many years of being gone from Northwest, I can still see he is up to his old tricks. Join the circus Schrenk, it was a good effort, you bought into the Tony Franklin system and it has fizzled. I feel for the team of Cannon County. NO ONE likes the get their pants whipped every Friday night. I can relate to your frustrations folks. I don't like to bash coaches and I'm not. It just makes me sick. He rode on the coat-tails of your former coach, taking all of the glory for that first year. Ugh. Memories.

Congrats to Hendersonville on the Friday night victory. Not many go into Henry Co. and come out with a win, so take pride in the fact that you did with a strong fan base behind you. That's really what Friday night football is, not all this cheap talk on a blog.

Seems like one of HC's "weak opponents" (Northeast) is playing next week...

Wow! Is one on board for LSU today? It's great that your community is behind your team. Your county is very lucky it is still small (and commmunity) enough for that type of atmosphere. I would love to come down to HC for the big game Friday.....love crossing beautiful Kentucky Lake after filling the tank at Cindy's.

Not trying to annoy and certainly agree that some of our coaching is the pits! One being, your former coach Gaddis' friend, Coach Schrenky-Dink, that coached at Northwest. Yikes, glad he moved on to Cannon County...closer to that Alabama line where he is from. You think this will finally be the year that HC's takes it on up to Murfreesboro? Who did knock off HC last year? I wish HC luck, it's great to have hometown pride for your team....and when you pull in with your busloads, it's impressive....What colleges do some of those top players attend? Who is playing? would like to see some of that...to see if the magic has carried on for some of them.

Thanks for the response. I'm from Clarksville where our football players are spread over the county, not just concentrated at one school. I'm also VERY proud of C'ville Northeast and CHS for two wins against the odds last night. Who does HC play next week? I wish you luck, but hoping one of our C'ville teams will take it to the top....Montgomery County has alot to prove to the one horse (one school) teams. As far as horn man, when does he graduate? He's really annoying.

OUCH! Hope he's ok. Somebody needs to review some game film and kick more than several players off....no need of that. Football is rough enough without a fight.

"Ain't no need for that fist fightin" Score looked tight like a great game, but bet it will be remembered for the fight, not the score! What in the world happened to the official?

Is Henry Co the only high school in the county? Has Henry Co. every been STATE CHAMPS? Is the horn man still tooting his horn? Who beat Henry Co last year?
