Polk had Notre Dame controlled throughout the game. Losing 10-7 to them shows that Polk is not a slouch team so don't count them out. Im sure Pearl Cohn if play well will beat them hands down. And for all the ones who think Notre Dame will make it past Meigs, wrong again. Meigs beat Nd easily 25-7 even playing alot of jv players 2nd half. Yeah they may have improved and im not cutting them slack, ND is a very good team, Meigs is just the best in the region. CHARLIE MURPHY is a very smart predictor so you better listen to him. Best of luck to Polk and hopefully we can cause noise in region. So if polk dont do the job, then I will see you week 2 in decatur Charlie Murphy, because I know the tigers of Meigs Co will get the job done.

They also have very good talent in which i didnt mention. Sycamore enjoy Meigs while you can, and on your way back home tell station camp the wonderful experience you had getting drilled in the ground. Then next week will be a game that people can really talk about and enjoy. I dont know much about 4-3a but from what I know Sycamore is like the Mcminn Central of region 3-3a. I have to give my respects to station camp, they play with class, and their fans post with class. Not downing white house n pearl cohn, just dont see many posts by them. So white house, pearl cohn, and station camp, give us the 411 on sycamore. for Pearl cohn, polk is a very tough but slow team. they do have some players that can make some noise. So dont count them out. Station camp, howard is loaded with tremendous speed. Not one white person dresses out. Shouldnt have problem if you can shut down their tailback, and thank god yall arent playin at howard(ghetto( White House, Notre dame is the same nd you played last year. they lost alot of players but still very good. Not a chance. Playing and beating Meigs at home is a very hard thing to do. It's kinda like the swamp. It's a tough place to win. Meigs will be on their A Game and be ready for this team. Meigs will surprise you. If you work all week on shuttin down the run, you will be surprised by their amazing passing and passing routes ran by recievers. If you work on just pass, boy your in for a time. And if you try to practice both, your just gonna run out of time. Its gonna be a good game, don't get me wrong. Meigs is definitely a second half team, and they will win at their home place. They wont let the fans thats been with them all year down. But if they do get beaten by Sycamore, they will go down fighting. They will not lay down one bit. They are not a team when you get a 2Td lead that will lay down. Thats when they battle the hardest. I know Meigs side will be packed and I hope we see a big crowd from Sycamore. Meigs had alot of hard hits against Sequoyah tonight, laying like 5 or 6 out. which can Sycamore defend better, the pass or run? If they defend the run better, they better hope to play meigs bc Notre Dame is all pass. If they defend the pass better, they better hope to play Notre Dame because meigs is a powerhouse when it comes to running the football.

Meigs will be hosting Sequoyah this Thursday night. I think this will be good for Meigs playing a team like this the last game of the year. Maybe Meigs can get alot of subs in this game to keep our key players fresh and ready for the playoffs. This is an advantage Meigs has over Polk and ND, these two collide on Friday. let them 4-a teams overlook 3-a. Its great being the underdog and surprising. If the 4-a teams have the same attitudes as the fans on here, overlooking our region 3a, they will get mashed in the mouth come play off time. Never overlook any team not even the weakest team in your region b/c anyone can pull an upset and definitely dont over look the top four playoff teams. And oh yeah buddy, this is not last year. Meigs will make it past second round if they keep their heads straight and keep it up with the good coaching. Meigs was not Meigs friday night against sweetwater. After getting the touchdown called back, they just fell apart on offense. It was mostly a defensive battle all game. Usually when Meigs is in a tight game at the half, they usually come out third quarter ready to go. Normally if an opponent shuts out meigs running game in the first half, meigs tb comes out third quarter ready to make his own holes if the lines not doin it. He did not do this friday. Sweetwater is a decent team. Meigs is the better team, sweetwater just played better. And you will see in playoffs if meigs is overrated when they smash u in the mouth. As far as polk, It wouldnt suprise me if them or howard(whoever finishes fourth) doont knock off station camp in first round. 3-3a is just as tough as 4-3a
