I totally agree with everything. Quoted part I agree with the most. Hampshire had 2 girls foul out (deservedly so because they did foul). However Richland had no one foul out playing more aggressively especially Jennings. I will not deny her hustle and ability but she was reaching, grabbing, and holding all night not to mention barrelling into crowds of players for loose balls. She single handedly gave Richland the half time lead. Richland won because other players contributed late and Hampshire lost both bigs down the stretch. I would love to see these two play one more time. Unfortunately don't see it happening.

Culleoka almost pulls upset! Can Hampshire pull it together for another upset of Richland. Hampshire came back from 24 to win by 3 the first matchup. Jesse Jennings powers Richland to a 30+ point drumming in the second matchup. Who you got?

This is the Culleoka team I expected at the beginning of the season. This is why I had them ranked as a contender.

Predictions? I agree with Lynnvegas. This may be the most entertaining tournament this district has had in years. I see Richland/Santa Re in final. Mt. Pleasant over Culleoka in consolation. Just not sure Hampshire can hang. Culleoka has beat them the worst of any team.

Not sure how the tournament is set up. I feel 4 and 5 should have a play in game. Which puts Richland and Santa Fe playing in the semis.

I would think that 4 and 5 have a play in game. Then 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 in semis. Just my thoughts. Not absolutely sure.

Richland handed Hampshire a huge loss. 26-0 after 1. Pretty much even the rest of the way. Jennings was not going to loss again. She single handedly sparked Richland the first quarter.

Great fight from Santa Fe. Great resolve and composure by Hampshire to hang on for the win. With the win Hampshire guarantees staying opposite of Richland and Santa Fe in the tournament.

Culleoka pulls off upset of Richland tonight in overtime. Culleoka switched to a zone. Richland became stagnant on offense and shots quit falling with the lack of movement and momentum. Culleoka kept the Raiders off the offensive glass and made key shots and free throws late. This is not the first time I have seen a Richland team become stagnant and lose energy against a zone. Too methodical and no movement to keep shooters in a flow.

Totally agree. Really wish TSSAA would increase classifications especially if football has 6 D1 classifications.

Hampshire keeps rolling after big win last week. Meeting with Santa Fe and Richland still left. Definitely anybody's district still. Santa Fe is really starting to build momentum. Richland has been very strong in there last two games. Can't believe only a couple weeks left before tournaments.

I was very wrong on Culleoka this year. I really thought they had turned the corner and could compete for the district title. With numerous returners and solid athletes at several positions, I thought they could pull within fighting distance of the top spot. I believe each of the top 3 beat them fairly soundly. Just in shock.

I was told Richland lost a key player against Hampshire. Prayers for her and her recovery.
