Well considering The Eagles are 2-0 in the AAA IMAC I think they should sweep 2A But seriously the game at hancock is usually tough. You never know what could happen in that gym.

I think the game Friday at unaka should be a good test. Have a feeling unaka is a better team than their record so far. Any time you face a team with a gold ball in the trophy case at home you better be ready to play.

Great game to watch. This intense rivalry got even more intense after this one.

The turnovers by Cloudland were big. And there were some penalties called at crucial points against both teams. Which I hate to see no matter which team they are called on.

#24? from Cloudland getting hurt was a big factor IMO. I hope he's OK for the rest of the season.

Cosby moved the ball well on offense on the ground and in the air. And the defense made a lot of big plays. Congrats to the players and coaching staff.

I think in the one post I found in this thread about Cosby vs grace /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> some good points were made.

grace seems to have a lot of playmakers that can score quickly and it's going to be best for The Eagles to keep the them off the field. Will it take a few turnovers to stop the grace offense..?? Is the key on offense for The Eagles going to be ball control, grind it out plays..?? Do we try the pooch kick..?? I bet they haven't heard we used it against Hampton /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

RebelRon has family in Cosby and has always supported The Eagles. His cousin was a 3-sport athlete a few years back.

I think it also makes Cloudland's chances that much better IMHO!

Weather will be a factor for sure Friday night. Looks like it's going to be pretty nasty. Turnovers could be the difference if one team isn't able to "out score" some of their own mistakes.

Maybe they were trick pooch kicks then, I guess it lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Those kicks were not tricky or even something Cosby was doing to get the ball. Hampton just blew it. Grace kicked it the same way.

IMO It would be hard to practice for those because his accuracy was amazing. Most kickers would probably have to try a bunch of kicks to get that kind of placement. And (I'm guessing) coaches don't want to "waste time" while their kicker tries to put in that spot. Again I'm guessing or just putting this out for discussion because I don't claim to know anything about football /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I actually like all of the Cosby posters that I've met. The other back you are referring to is one of my all time favorites from Hampton, but he just wasn't the back Adam was. He waasn't as strong ,big or fast. Hampton was not even close to 100 percent and still won. It took Hampton about 3 weeks to get over Adam being out, but they did get over it. He was sorely missed.

I talked to Dogbreath and I kept a close watch on him and Pujo.

I meant to ask around and find Pujo so I could introduce myself.. I stayed pretty busy keeping my brother-in-law and nephew entertained and the gate got backed up for a little while too.

Somebody told Mrs. CosbyEagle to be sure and charge Adam double while I was showing hampton where to change in the gym. Would love to know who that was too.

My nephew had a great time at the game. He hasn't seen a 2nd half comeback like that watching the Little Red play.

We kept a close eye out for anyone trying to smuggle muffins in on the hill friday night. Everyone knew muffin eating would only lead to trouble. Can't say I blame him for leaving early though after that 2nd half. I've made the decision to leave a few gyms quickly myself a time or two.
