  1. Does anyone know what radio station will carry this game?
  2. Darci will be a great assistant coach and hopefully she will be able to teach the new head coach the differences betwenn softball and baseball.
  3. That wasn't MrNoitall that posted yesterday. It was Mr Knowitall. Not the same person /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  4. I don't think that anyone ever said that MJ was in the state. Just clarifying for the record that FCS didn't beat MJ and FCS didn't score.
  5. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> That's correct. In fact, Morris and MJ shut them out last year. MJ won 5-0.
  6. A good travel team/coach can do a lot to help you but you've got to do the majority of the work. That means contacting the coaches at the schools that you are interested in, going to their clinics and getting them to come see you at the tournaments that you attend. Here is a great link that has a lot of useful recruiting info: http://www.eteamz.com/RECRUITINGTIPS/
  7. Well it did come across as cocky. Not everyone wants to play at an ASA National. That's the great thing about softball. There is a place for every level of talent so you don't need to put down someone just because they chose to play USFA, USSSA, etc. and not ASA. Some people don't want and/or can't afford to chase the ASA Nationals. They also may not want to play college ball. That doesn't mean that there aren't some good players at these tournaments. Granted there are probably not as many but they are there. And for the record, my daughter does play ASA Gold but I'm not going to put down players who don't choose to play Gold.
  8. Here's the link for the tournament which shows all of the teams playing in the 16, 18 and 18G divisions: www.musiccityhits.com
  9. Here is the link to their team website which has some contact info under the link to each team: http://www.eteamz.com/FuryFastpitch/index.cfm?
  10. Any updates on the MJ/Oakland game?
  11. You obviously "don't know jack". They haven't been hiding Kat all year. She has pitched in almost as many games as Lauren has and she's their shortstop. She also pitched several innings last year against MJ. BTW, she doesn't throw 4/5 mph faster that Thomas. She's fast but I haven't seen any current high school pitchers throwing anywhere near 70 mph /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> And no, Lauren won't be sitting the rest of the season. I suspect that Coach Woods will continue to use them as he did during the district tournament with Lauren starting the game and Kat coming in to close the game.
  12. Does anyone have any word on the status of this tournament? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  13. Has anyone seen the schedule yet and/or know of a internet link to this tournament?
  14. Perhaps the coaches would be well served to read this article from the NFCA when transitioning the players to metal cleats: http://www.nfhs.org/core/contentmanager/up...etal_cleats.pdf
  15. Apparently MrNoitAll doesn't "know it all". /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
