Sorry to change the subject but,,,if DB wins friday night, where will they play their frist round in the playoffs? I would love to go watch my cousin play in maybe his final game of the year(and maybe career). He is # 30 (Will Wagner) and i know he has good speed and can hold on the ball great but so i am confused as to why he hasnt seen much PT. I have talked to people on the team adn they think that he is the next back under Chris that should be getting touched but just hasnt yet. Could someone please inform me on how he has done this year with the limited PT he has gotten? Thank you

Although I am a bit one sided when it comes to this dicussion, I do KNOW for a fact that it will be a great game. And i hope that it is close because it has already been named the game of the year in the MLC and maybe the state is 4A. I know Curt is an amazing player and is a force to be reckoned with but he is human. He is only 17. I personally think that if you shut him down(by shut down i mean that you keep him under his normal game averages), that THS could come out on the better end of the deal. South still has a very talented group of receivers who I expect to get many touches and at least one touchdown. But then as a counterpoint to that, THS has the #3 defense in the state in points allowed. They have a very strong front four with Dickerson and Bible bringing the heat. In my opinion, how well these boys play WILL determine the outcome of the game. On offense, I hope THS can run the option to some kind of perfection against South with Baker or Sheppard lining up in the backfield. Who knows, Ol' Stubbs might even throw in the split back to mix things up. All I know is that this is going to be a great game no matter who wins. Just a reminder, BUNDLE UP!!! Its gonna be a cold one in Death Valley. Theres a shocker /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> . But good luck to both teams...and... GO VIKES!!!!

i have no clus who you think you are but all i can say is South is beginning to get wayyyy over confident and cocky. Not exactly all of them because i believe the majority of them are quite pleasent. Its only the few( Volamnscott) who can talk trash and who dont do anytiing on the field except hide behind the All-State QB. Now lets let the playing do the talking and then if you still have problems then Im sure some of the THS fans wont have ANY problem "smacking you around". R u serious? I honestly think that THS will beat South and eventually play MoWest in the quarterfinals and beat them. They have been the power house of that area and any other year i would take them over THS...BUT not this yer. They are down and THS is playing very well. The scrimmage against greeneville is not a very accurate way of looking at what this team is capable of. It might just be me but im pretty sure im not alone in sayin THS wins the region then goes and plays Maryville /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> . Im just sayin, dont think you have it all wrapped up yet.

I grew up with Curt and I know he is an excellent person on and off the field. IMO, I think he will have an AMAZING career as a Badger because of his tremendous work ethic and self discipline. I wish him the best of luck in everything.

Ok I see where your coming from. The only reason that I want THS to win is because I am tired of everyone saying that South is going to kill THS. I want it to be a good game. This decides the conference, it HAS to be a good game. I was not directing that previous post at you so i meant no offense to you. I apologize. And i cant wait to see Curt playing next year on TV. I believe that some of the Johnson County folks are still a little sore about the game that they got "ground into the ground". Its ok. Well play the game just like everyone else. I agree. I think it will be an easy win..BUT, THS will slack in the first half again and give the cougars some courage. But i think in the second half, once again, it will be all Vikings. But an OK game the first half. THS by 21+
