Well I happened to be there the last time these two meet up and Smith Co. just basically let Gordonsville run all over em. Truth be told, to be a Smith Co. fan, it was plain embarasing to watch! It's not a district game, but I mean its Smith Co. vs. Gordonsville and that just speaks for itself and I figured that both teams would come out with a lot of emotion and Gordonsville did but Smith Co. seemed real dry and I really think that was the difference maker in the outcome...just the emotion. This Saturday it's at Carthage so Smith Co. has home court advantage and that will help in their favor. I just hope for a more competitive game than last time. I know with Justin starnes out that just leaves 2 seniors and I think they both have had a couple 20 point games this season. I remember Corey Carver playin very well at the last Gordonsville game but Halliburton didnt do near as well as I thought he would but I think if they step up and play like they have in the past and the whole team follows I think they come out with a win.

I agree with ya about the refs. Especially during the Smith Co, Merryl Hyde game. Even tho Smith Co won, some of the calls that the refs made was just unbelievable and off the wall. But like you said you gotta play thru it but it gets pretty rediculous sometimes.

Well I know for sure this is gonna be a huge game for smith co. since its at home and they really need this win. I'm not sure what White House's record is but I know they're a tough team who smith co. has had trouble with in the past but it should be a good game. Im just excited to see the outcome of the whole thing. I think Smith Co. has a pretty good chance seein as how good they have played here lately maybe they can get a win tomorow night. Any more thoughts?

Smith County and Livingston play this coming Friday at Smith County. It is a very big district game for both teams. In the last week Smith Co. has come off of two impressive wins against Trousdale and Cannon. Can they keep their streak goin? Any thoughts?

Man..whats up with all the hating goin on...I mean dang people. Sure LA is #1 in the district and Smith County is #6 comin into the tourny, but when the tourny starts its 0-0 for all the teams its just like a clean slate...but I mean I can't predict what the score will be at the end of the game(like everyone else seems to be able to do), but what I do know is that Smith County is for real..and for all the haters out there you best watch out for the Owls baby!!!

Well even though cannon county county did beat dekalb, which will definitely give them a boost, smith county has a lot of emotion also comin into this game, but I think it should be good it really all depends on who gets hot. We know both teams can shoot the three. Good luck Owls.

Well this Thursday is crunch time for Smith County and Cannon County with the winner moving on to the tourny and the loser heading home...should be an interesting game.
