Are you kidding me?How can a football program that has ONLY 6 winning seasons in 45 years be DOOMED......yes 6 seasons including this year.Here's the solution to bloodsaw coaching the pounders-1st of all :who cares,if he's the coach(he cant do any WORSE than the previous 100 white coaches central has had since the move to Harrison.2nd:let him get in there lose just like everybody else,then fire him just like all the others or let the parents or boosters run him off.lastly then go and find coach Turner(tyner) or some young coach from some winning program LEAVE HIM ALONE 100%(DONT HARASS HIM,UNDERMIND HIM let him coach for more than a year or 2)they hated daniels in red bank for a couple of years until he started winning and the kids,parents drank the Kool-Aid.

I'll chime in on this-first of all who gets on here and calls themselves booger?(and wants to be taken seriously?)trying to compare owls schedule to yours is a friggin joke.period.The owls schedule these guys(tyner,brainerd)for 2 very well known reasons,1-because Ooltewah cant find ANYONE TO PLAY THEM around here(unless your irish want to play around with the big boys?)2nd-those schools will play us,because the owls travel better than anyone and every other year,WE help bring money to their much needed programs.and if I read goosesdad post,he never compared nd-owls schedules you did.but none of that matters in the big picture of this absolute laughable back n fourth chatter.Every now and then the doormats of any region/district get a awesome group of young men and big things---JUST LIKE IN NOTRE DAME'S CASE last couple of years.Fans,parents,alumni etc get excited that's all what is great about hs football.bottom line is please,please THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK OR WRITE about your team winning a state championship,because its bad enough when it ends,but to make such high goals and put it on the shoulders of kids is stupid(because the delusional parents are not the ones playing and putting in the hard work)I know the ultimate goal in any sport is to win it ALL.,.but you do it one game at a time.

irish will win again.......they will beat all these below average teams (just like all 8 cupcakes in reg. season).they will probably meet ALCOA in the semis.,.then reality will set in.Im not hating just saying in reference to the delusional irish fan on local radio Friday night!!!!

Last year wasnt bad,it was beyond DISAPPOINTING! 2 years before was "our year"...but nothing.Owls have won alot of games in a decade,alot of schools would love to have won the amount of games ooltewah did.but we havent won the big one..its all disappointing.I'll give more cheers than jeers. sorry if i sound negative,but when you win alot,you want to go to the NEXT LEVEL.

Drew and Goose,who cares?OK genius if you have 27 seniors(maybe more)almost all started year before,you have def.lineman of the year,def. player of the year,wide recvr of the year etc...qb passed for almost 2000 yds and so on,but you can't even win your district(finishing 3rd!!)so who is to blame?next year's team will have nothing for what ever reason(new school).I said it starts at the top and I stand by it.I'm not hating..but I could.

This will be the longest,most dreadful football season at the nest in over a decade.....I'm being nice when,I say this-if the owls win more than one game,its a miracle.I wish the boys the best,but spring practice was PAINFUL!!!!

T.Mathers committed to Ole Miss and I've seen Blackmon play (last year),Signal will get beat,unless they knock Mathers out early.Blackmon lost a couple of good players,but they are still very good.Signal could sneek out with a win,but I seriously doubt it.31-6 Blaze!.....one last thing,if eagles win up there,they will march to another championship.

Central might win 2 or 3 games this year.(as usual)if they go 5-5 its a miracle. Went to the 1st half of the game and its clear,they are not prepared mentally. They need to change to the Harrison high and leave the mystic of days gone by downtown and try to facelift the whole school,all I heard was we are back,we are gonna do this etc...compared to what 40 years ago.Etter is not going to walk up and coach em to a championship.Start completly over or something.Gettin old fast.

Worst ref'd game ever. Owls offense supposedly had 240 yds,#11 had biggest play all night on offense for a td. Running back cant hold on to ball.(how many times does he have to fumble?) Last time,i checked endzone was north and south,no points for running over sidelines,got to throw down field. To much passing. Owls D is awesome.,.but they are on the field to long. Thank god for int for pick 6 and for punt return for td. Owls are 3-0 for now.siegel is for real(3-0) Bradley county is a monster this year. Owls will make playoffs. GO OOLTEWAH..LOOKING GOOD even though this game was sloppy.

Don't understand why this game isn't getting alot of press locally. I know Ooltewah went 4-6 and East went 2-8,but this game has been on the minds of alot of people for 2 or 3 years.there is alot of twists and turns within these neighborhood rivals. They have played each other in every sport EXCEPT football,this game might end up like a Bradley-cleveland,Maryville-Alcoa etc....anyway should be a very good ball game,last years Ooltewah-Tyner games was one of the greatest games,I ever saw just because of the build up.This game will be so HYPED by both schools this week,it will be ridiculous!! Brothers against brothers,Owl's coach teaches at East Hamilton,ex-coaches,divorced families were 2 kids play for each school,child hood friends going against each other,should be a very emotional game,hope everyone keeps it in perspective.
