Funny stuff, I had a good friend on the Karns staff last year and he told me that he him self called Quarles to do a scrimmage and Quarles said their schedule was full, maybe he was scared of us as well. The CC thing is hilarious, I guess they really got some studs that transferred in, simple thing is Fulton has done a great job doing what they do and Maryville as well, it's like WB beating Maryville in jamboree, everyone thinking WB is ready and Maryville not as good as advertised, bet the score will be 45 - 0 when they play in regular season same with CC and Fulton , if CC played TD for TD then Fulton must have been playing some third and fourth string guys trying to find a diamond in the rough or just maybe CC is the new top program after one year of success playing in a very bad district either way, Fulton and Maryville are on top as usual and my Beavers on the bottom so everything is still in alignment...

I don't have a mutual friend with you, also I have been at karns for many many years so yea I can have a reply , as I said I'm not dogging the new staff I just was wondering who we hired that are good coaches, that's it.

I'm not a coach I have coached one year in the youth program so who ever you think I am I don't know but I haven't been on any staffs and I don't have a clue who you are.

I'm not dogging him, my question was simple you said he has put together a good staff, I'm just asking you with your unlimited knowledge who are the great hires? I would say 3 and 7 as a head coach wouldn't classify your team as successful, I would also say if your going to give a guy credit for being undermanned you have to give Travis Tipton some props with all the key injuries they had this year, don't get upset that I would question about the staff, if you are going to raise the bar that its a good staff then explain, we are just tired of being told how great coaches are and we would like to see it, allot of praise for NON PROVEN COACHES all over this board.

So HTV who are all the great coaches that Kikgore has hired, we here at Karns haven't seen any coaches that would have the experience to be called a nice hire and we keep the one constant if our ways for 30 years on staff so just wondering about the great staff you posted about. Not saying young coaches can't be good but having a track record to compare to would be great.

The easiest thing would be if TSSAA investigated and if they found nothing wrong then so be it, that would shut up allot of people but, if they did find wrong doing then something would have to be done, either way if TSSAA truly cared about that issue they could get a few schools, their worries is about money not level playing field , their motto if we don't know we can't do anything about it , better off hiding behind the business of money making not rule enforcement.

If you didn't notice Catholic was one of few that step down in classifications , think they cried enough to TSSAA about it not being fair and Dicky may have called in some favors with his old buddy Childers

According to some on here the AD is a great guy, he may very well be but, he doesn't seem to be a very good AD, guess central will get someone in time for spring practice.

Cummings is staying at West

HTV you are the man when it comes this stuff but, on this one your wrong, Cummings is interviewing and has to interview with the principal to finalize the process, not saying he will take it but he is their number one and also there is allot more to changing them just funds, classes to be teaching, plan periods, facilities, just saying for some its not just about money.

Powell tried to hire McMillan, MoWest coach and they both said thanks but no thanks, Central has tried to hire some coaches that said thanks but no thanks, if you think Powell's hire was their first choice then I would say why has there already been calls sayjng hire someone else, Powell's hire was out of panic not the best guy for the job.

Central has been turned down by a few coaches seems no one wants to work for that A.D. they could have their old A.D. back, central just not a very desirable place right now, I'm sure they will do as Powell done and hire someone who will take the job.

If you look at Troy's web site there is no info on Phillips, also Knox county would not hire anyone with any type of DUIs, seems a little strange if he is on Troy's staff he would be listed on their web site, someone said he is a student assistant , not on the staff.

Never said he was a bad hire but keeping BAD legacy around is bad regardless of the hc hire, Karns needs players as well as coaches and it is really hard to keep kids with all the schools close by with better records.

Knew you would know HTV but, I wouldn't for the life if me know why the Mo West coach would tell coaches close to him that he was offered and turned it down.
