Cross Country Coaches: Contact me if you are interested in competing in the Smyrna Parks 5K Run & High School Challenge, August 11, 7:30am. It is on the flat and fast, USATF Certifed Sharp Springs Course in Smyrna. Chip Timed, we will award a boys and girls team championship trophy. Open to all high schools and $10 per runner. All runners eligible if official rosters have not been turned into TSSAA as per TSSAA. Also, new to the event is a competitive 1 Mile Run at approximately 8:30am. It is also chip timed and certified. The date was moved up a couple of weeks to accomodate high schools due to the TSSAA rules. There will be a championship trophy award to the top boys and girls teams. Age group awards will also be given out. ChampionChip timed and USATF Certified. Sharp Springs Competitive Mile Run to follow. No additional charge. This is a nice pre-season read on your team. $10 per runner and t-shirts will be provided with all other 5K amenities. Please contact me to make arrangements for pre-registering your team.
