Oneida looked bigger, better, and faster then GP but just couldn't pull it together. It was my first OHS game but I was fun(at least the last 5 min. ) I'm sure the coaching staff will get the tribe right. Lambert and Co. definitely out-schemed GP. Well Sir, I respect your opinion about "execution" but I've seen plenty of what most fans are talking about from my days at Scott. You hit the nail on the head though about Gillum and Co. being excellent. It's not lazy kids, trust me I know, it's their middle school and other lower levels of coaching that's in our county. I also agree about the A-E statement but sounds like your personal problem. The boards are about dead for Scott & AC, so it seems. Falling off the map here.

-History of good games between the two. -AC usually wins it by a small margin and the refs (in accord with history) seem to play a role. -Lying Larry vs His old shining star (David Gilllum). Two have a conflict that revolves around a big game. -Larry has never lost to Scott.(quoted in paper saying so) -Scott needs a signature win, -despite their major improvements in the past few years, Scott hasn't done better than 2-5 in region play It will be a good game, maybe even good enough for me to go to my first for the year. I wish the kids up on the mountain the best of luck. I know you've worked very hard so make it pay off. I also want to give you congrats on bringing some respect back to SHS Football. Your strides to excellence have been noted by many followers of the region. It was very clear when Gillum took over, his first year/my senior was the beginning of a new Scott. It was also clear it would take a few years for the dividends to pay off. I expect Scott to stay solid for a long time. A major problem in the past was kids who could have been good athletes never would step on the practice field. It's all starting to change. The 11-15 size senior classes we need are slowly starting to show.

I told you it would be a good game. Great coaching and hard work is slowly building a good program up on the mountain.

It's been a good series and possibly the last between the two. Good luck to both sides especially those wearin the red. Scott by 7.

Now boys, they don't have cable internet in those parts yet. A half-decent DSL, and my granny still reps the dial-up. Nevertheless, these kids don't really fired up from the arm-chair quarterbacks.
