  1. That field died because Sonnenfeldt took them out with a 2:17 first half mile. . Whatever happened to people just going out and racing? Whats with the new chickencrap and conserving? You may wait till the middle mile to race, but by that time it may already be too late. Besides, you're having to use all that energy to catch up. i prefer the middle mile at the steeple opposed to the other ones
  2. Mark Cole and Konnor Kesler both ran swift times yesterday at the Trinity Christian Academy Invit. in Jackson. . 16:15 16:24 Anybody know anything about that course? Station Camp beat MC yesterday by 12 They looked really tough /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  3. Macon County versus Station Camp tomorrow at MC. MC is running their varsity, don't know if SC will. . If so, should be interesting /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I think MC ran impressively Saturday at Sharp Springs. Nice run by Mark Cole at the Classic. . . What did Mahaney run at the Classic last year?
  4. to say the course is a minute fast would be an overstatement. . it's a fast course but not a minute fast. give credit to the runners that ran their time. fast times were ran because it was actually good weather and the course is fun. congrats to mlk and mc for running impressively Dual meet format between the two according to chickasaw performances: MLK - 24 MC - 31
  5. That's four time state champion. . I think both MC and SC ran impressively considering the conditions Saturday. I think they've established themselves as obvious contenders. . Maybe at the classic we'll see an early season contest between some of the better a/aa teams
  6. Unfortunately it is true. . Brandon was injured while running a route in Macon County. Had a slip incident while running up a hill. . Don't know how long he will be out.
  7. 1:56 isn't that fast for an 800, i mean yes it's very good don't get me wrong, but mahaney did a 2:00.00 after a 4:27 mile at sectionals, and ran the 800 after the 32, and 16 at state and still ran 2:00.9 coming through in 62 the first lap, so i would hope that mahaney could run sub 2 which wouldn't be a 4 second jump for him next year. and bumbi like talent was 9:32, 4:05, and then 1:53 at state, so to be able to triple in a/aa doesn't take bumbi like talent you also said mahaney wouldn't win the mile at state too
  8. That's absurd, how is it not fair? If five runners come through before another team's five runners then that other team is better.
  9. got any reasons as to why he wouldn't?

My PR doesnt matter anymore all that matters is next year and my Pr is way better than anyone else in my age i think you're going to have to do a lot more than to just pr next year to be a legit contender to beat the returning state champ, his teammates, the returning state runner up, and the next 15 or so runners who are scratching and clawing their way to the top. as a matter of fact, you're probably going to have to pay a wizard who will magically make you fast, and at that point, i'm not sure you could win - still. c'mon. be reasonable. run a fast 5k, instead of a fast first mile, (like you did yesterday) and gain some respect before you're able to get on here and talk like you are dude when, where, and what was your hit? when you crossed the finish line yesterday and hit 50th place with a time of 18:i'm slow as heck. you'll be lucky to even make it out of sub sectionals. . as a matter of fact you'll be lucky to have your name on the performance list. the track is where we'll see your smack talk. and we'll see that you're most likely going to be left not even qualifying out of sub secs

i think you've gotta beat the returning state champion, the returning state runner up, and beat about 10 to 15 other runners, what with next year it being as stacked as this year. and if you're who i think you are, then while i was watching you didn't even run that well. let's see what you've got on the track. . your pr was what this year in cross? mahaney is going to go sub 1550 next year /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> he could've went sub 16 yesterday with competition. and yes look for cole, musick, coniglio, and others to be there next year. and don't count out steven snyder next year. after all he'll just be training with the state champion. . can't wait for that track forum to open up /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

why am i being singled out for bashing someone, when it happens all of the time? clarkrange was just recently bashed and nothing was said. bashing and attacking is what it's all about- - - - have fun guys

yes i've heard it's just straight up flat and completely downhill, and i agree with you if we stacked those times up and tallied them for a preview of the state race then it would be irrelavant, so i take back what i said about mc's times because it's completely arbitrary, but isn't bashing and attacking one anothers teams what this board is all about it? i mean it's all for fun and aggravation. do we all want to get on here and say "oh lets give clarkrange a shot, those guys can run too, i mean they can beat anybody" lets not get too soft and buttered up. geez if ya can't take it then get off, and frankly my opinion is going to be spoken aloud

whoa man, it'll take awhile for me to recover from that one. maybe mc doesn't deserve this kindof recognition, but i guarantee you they'll prove that they can run with any a/aa team. isn't there a race at vaughns gap today?

regardless of what kind of times they are, Mc's first 2 times are times you couldn't begin to imagine running. In addition, FRA will never beat MC if you run the way you did last year at state with an 18 what? 30s? MC will only keep improving, not saying everyone else won't, but from here on out it's how everyone trains and dedicates themselves. i say MC, MLK, and DL will have all 5 guys go sub 17:50 at state. get ready to see a long list of prs from MC, (and a/aa teams sat. @ memphis twilight) within the next few weeks
