  1. AE won at Seymour last week in a closer game than the score depicted. Didnt see much about the Catholic game, but I think if they come out to play, even with the injuries, they take this one in a landslide.
  2. I haven't had a chance to see Gibbs play, but I saw Rutledge play down at Seymour 2 weeks ago. Even though they did get shutout, there offense showed the potential to be good. Maybe not the best, but certainly one of the more physical offensive lines I have seen come from there in a while. I think this game will be close, but with Rutledge pulling it out at 10-7
  3. Benton was Gary's dad. As for the game, I'm calling for a much-different than last week Seymour team to come out and win this one. It will be a close game either way. It's a lot to base a win on, but I think the team that keeps its head takes this game. Seymour by a touchdown
  4. I have to disagree. Seymour has a very good team this year and will come out to play against the Smoky Bears. Sevier County has had a couple of tough losses this year while Seymour has been the exact opposite. Look for Seymour to come out on top of this one by a touchdown or more
  5. well Seymour has come out to play the last couple of weeks and with this being such a big rivalry, I expect to see that from them again. Im taking Seymour by a touchdown
  6. Don't be so sure about them winning out in Region 1....
  7. well Seymour moves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in region games. While the score was 26-0, it could have been uglier if the Eagles could have finished a couple drives in the red zone instead of kicking field goals. Seymours offensive and defensive lines looked dominant throughout the game against a tough Rutledge line. Good game both ways though. Look for both teams to big factors in the region this year.
  8. Chris Beard from Seymour. not the biggest or the fastest, but his heart can't be matched.
  9. nobody saw that one coming did they?
  10. I know that I am just a "seymoron" and everything...but just how in the world do you know all of this?
  11. This is Seymours first region game... Any predictions?
  12. Complaining? Show me where I was complaining. I was just saying that GP was our biggest rival for years and then Seymour started to beat them every year and they got scared. And if you would check schedules...Seymour has played 3 teams which are bigger than we are. And if youre so into checking figures, check Seymours record. 3-0.
  13. GP jumped right in to play Pigeon Forge when they were down, which is almost the same size as Seymour. and they played Seymour for forever when Seymour was still bigger than them. Maryville and West will be moving up within a couple of years after Seymour moves up too though...
