  1. I was reading from top to bottom, and I sure thought it odd someone was going after bison4 for bashing a kid. If anything, he'd go after someone who DID bash a kid.

Frankly, I was shocked Yazzie only got a small school offer. I didn't necessarily think he was SEC material, but he's a mid major guy, at least. I think some larger schools missed the boat on him. He was the best player I saw all season.

Now, as far as the pecking order for next year, was Hendersonville not hit hard by graduation? Not that I'm arguing the prediction, I really don't know. Someone fill me in on Hendersonville, Gallatin, Beech, and the Wilson County schools.

I don't know a thing about the Wilson County teams. All I can speak of is Hendersonville, and let me tell you, this team is going to be STOUT in the trenches this season!

  2. Beech coming off a region championship in 6-4A...

Gallatin and Hendersonville finishing #1 and #2 in 6-5A...

Station Camp coming off an impressive year...

Can Portland keep up with the Big Boyz...

How will they fare in the new district?

Just a note: Hville and Gallatin were in 5-5A last year.

This season, these teams will finish in this order:

    Hendersonville

    Gallatin

    Beech

    Station Camp

Portland (they will be way, way down here)

  3. Ahh like I said 100 times before kid was great high school player and I'm sure a fine young man. I have never talked him down as you claim, maybe if you didn't talk him up so much.-what is wrong with debating you when you claimed UT and mizzou wanted him?- the simple fact is you got on the site and posted yaz is a top flight D1 prospect with UT and Mizzou after him...

So I replied with the truth and not with black and gold glasses on- in no way shape or form was yaz a d1 prospect- is that knocking him?no just brutal honesty..I also said I hope he recieves a full ride somewhere-

So I'm closing you are missing the point as you came onto this board declared him a top d1 prospect(and let's not forget you said eric gordan is not a d1 prospect and will go to a small school)

Go plan your trip to greenville tn

    You win, I was wrong.

  4. Hendersonville Commandos 2009 Schedule

    Aug. 28 Riverdale

    Sep. 4 @ Lebanon

    Sep. 11 @ LaVergne

    Sep. 18 Mt. Juliet

    Sep. 25 Hunters Lane

    Oct. 2 @ Wilson Central

    Oct. 9 Station Camp

    Oct. 16 @ Portland

    Oct. 23 @ Beech

    Oct. 30 Gallatin

Good to see the Commandos keep the rivalry vs HLHS alive, and picking up the Riverdale is very exciting. My only problem with the schedule is that the HHS-Gallatin game is Week 10 this year, that's a pretty dang emotional and hard hitting game that could hurt one of the teams in the playoffs.

  5. Wow u can't face it being wrong about the kid being a d1 prospect as you so boldly told me thru your rose colored glasses--you are more wrong when you state my obsession with the young man, no my dear friend my obsession is with you HHS in simply stating a fact to you last november when you said mizzu and vols are agter him.

I never bashed slick nick but merely stated the truth to which u took offense ( he is a div III player)

    Come back admit ur wrong

    You responded to my same comment twice. I feel loved. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

  6. Yeah remember u called me out when I said no d-1 for yaz you sais mizzu, and ut were after him well its almost feb 4th

    Alrighty.

Good luck to slick Nick Yazzie wherever he ends up playing next season. I would hope that his on field performances have showed everyone that he is, indeed, a great talent. Sadly, your rather unique obsession with the young man probably will probably keep you from ever seeing this.

You, sarahpalin, disappoint me. Just wish him luck and move on with your life, brother/sister. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

  7. Could this be the same Gary Sanders that was a stud lineman for the Commandos in 98?

If so, heck of a hire Portland, you got a guy that wants to win, no questioning his desire. Seems like every dang team in this new district is going to have a Hendersonville product on the coaching staff, whether it be a former coach or player.

  8. well golden Tate for Notre Dame who is a former JP2 stud had 6 catches for over 150 yards and 3 TD's in their first bowl victory since 1994. Golden played great tonight.

    Merry X-Mas to all!!!

Man oh man, how I wish Pope was never built and Golden had gone to the school he was zoned for.....

But yeah, nothing wrong with a Hendersonville boy going off on a D1 team (if you can call Hawaii that) /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  9. I havnt really got to see him play except for the east west game but if is going to play cb then i think he is making a mistake. You have a chance to go play for the probably the best d-cordinator in the game college or nfl at utk. That cant hurt your chances of playing on sundays. I woulnt count tn out till he signs the papers.

I surely do hope you're right.

  10. he had over 2000 all purpose yards and 21 tds on offense

had like 1372 yards rushing in 11 games 17 tds on ground

averaged 50 + yards per kick return

20 + yards per punt return

    on defense had 20 + tackles 3 INT's 3 FF 2 fumble recoveries...

1st team all region on offense and defense.....

Sounds like a straight beast indeed. Good luck to him next season!

He's on Bearden, correct? Will they be 5A or 6A next season?

  11. YES, SIR!!!

He is a TRUE sophmore too. Has never failed or been held back a grade..

Well goodness me, that is absolutely PHENOMENAL!

What kind of numbers did this guy put up? Must have had some monster stats to make the 5A All State Team as a RB.

Congrats to him especially, sounds like he'll win a Mr. Football Award at some point.
