  1. Quite a district. Probably the toughest district in the state. Really stinks that only 3 of these schools are guaranteed in, when I'm guessing all of them will be playoff-caliber teams.
  2. I hardly see how it would be more fun to have the possibility of a ton of undefeated teams, and have some random group of people decide who is the best. I think we should let the best teams in the state play each other personally......oh wait, that's what we've got now, it's called a playoff. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. YES!!!!!! Glad to see Tennessee kids head up to Rocky Top to play some football. Good start Coach Kiffin, and good luck to Gordon.
  4. That's not a good way at all. Do you really want to listen to a bunch of teams to gripe that they deserve to be state champions? Settle it on the field....just use fewer classifications. Not real hard.
  5. Check it out yo. 2009-2012 TSSAA Football Districts
  6. There is going to be a 6A starting next season.
  7. Congrats Burros! Way to bring the 4A gold ball to Middle Tennessee!
  8. One of the few bitter posts I've seen from the Rebel fans after this game. That speaks volumes of your fanbase. Good luck next year Maryville!
  9. This thread is just like Portland's football program......a joke. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  10. WOW. Congrats to Hillsboro. Maryville, it's been great following the streak over the years, time to start a new one!
  11. Shout out to the Commandos who made the all Region 5 5A team this past season! Brandon Hall Casey Stockwell CJ Murrell Zach Hill Andrew Height Nick Yazzie Kevin Stephens Chad Pennington Region MVP - Nick Yazzie Region Most Valuable Lineman - Kevin Stephens and ole Bruce Hatfield winning 5 5A coach of the year Good job to all these Commandos, as you proved even in the offseason, you're the most dominant team in the Region!
  12. Good luck Portland, you're moving up to the big boy stage next year, so get a good coach!
  13. Rooting for the Burros. Gotta pick the Rebels though.
  14. Another Midstate championship game. Who could have predicted that? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  15. What classification will South be next year? Hopefully they won't be moving up to 5A as this could strain my relationship with the Inner Circle.
  16. Is there a roster available somewhere? Nevermind.....I found it! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  17. Most of the teams with a strong kicking game get them directly from the soccer team. If soccer doesn't exist at these schools, it can still be coached. Most coaches would rather coach the other basics of the game rather that teach a player how to kick from scratch, no matter how much it might benefit them. I must say, I've never heard of a team not being able to kick an extra point since middle school. We have played the Metro Nashville teams for a while, and they can kick extra points at least, so I don't think this is really a statewide inner city problem.
  18. Tough break. Didn't really affect anything at all, but still a admirable choice by the coach.
  19. WOW! Where the heck has Oakland come from this year?!?! Good luck to y'all!
