  1. several as in one right? finally, something I agree with you about
  2. thats easy to say when you get left out...again
  3. where have I heard that before, OH YEAH, thats your excuse for every time that Ryan gets beat in anything by BA or MBA. PS-MBA is winning state in wrestling too
  4. yeah, because its obviously accidental when a player is walking over to his team after a game and happens to slip, go 5 feet out of his way and stomp on an ankle, what can I say, the ground was wet and he must have just slipped, right 32skidoo?
  5. They are probably amongst, if not the, top coaches in the state right now. Great game for both sides, but what truly bothered me was BAs sportmanship, or lack thereof. #4 was taunting the MBA students, team, and on two distinct occassions, the MBA coaches. And after the last play of the game, when the clock had been at zero, and the whistle blown, and the players were rushing the field, one of the BA OLineman stomped on Jay Cole's ankle, on prupose, and he now has a high ankle sprain, thats beyond Ryan-like
  6. Congrats to MBA, first time in MBA history 13-0, 1st time in MBA history we beat both BA and Ryan TWICE each in the same season.
  7. IMO, I think that there can not really be any other candidate than Daniel McGugin at MBA, he has taken a team that was 4-6, and down in the dumps, and he has transformed them into a 12-0 team going into the state finals, his players absolutly love him and the new coaches that he has brought in
  8. same goes for jess rutledge, he is the cockiest and one of the dirtiest players ive seen, in the first matchup he tackled preston bailey on the opposite side of the field as the play, and at least 4 secs after the whistle had been blown, and right onto the MBA bench, needless to say that the players were about ready to rush him
  9. not to be mean, but MBA has been picked to win 6 or less of their 12 games this season, and BA was ranked #1 in the tennessean until they were beaten, and I dont think that they have been picked to lose a game all year, including the first MBA game
  10. As many have said before, this game is almost guaranteed to be close and low scoring, and a defensive war all the way through. Both defenses have played outstandingly this season. It will undoubted be a great game with fierce battles down in the trenches. Also as many have said, MBA does have the advantage in the kicking game, with Fletcher kicking, needless to say that that did decide the game. I would tend to say that MBA and BA are just about equal in the offensive category, while BA may have the edge in the backfield, except the QB, I would give the O-Line Edge to MBA, because, in my opinion, they have the best O-Line in the state. I would also say that the two defenses are comprable, MBA and BA both have outstanding D-Lines, but I would say that MBA has the edge in the linebacker corpse. The secondaries are also similar, but BAs corners are a little bit too aggressive and bit on too many fakes. What I am most concerned about is BAs unexperienced sophmore QB, from watching him, he seems to get frustrated and flustered when he gets pressured, and he can throw it away on an otherwise good play, or he can be forced to throw bad passes, sometimes resulting in ints. He can also tuck it and run, which will rarely result in a good play with MBAs defense. AMEN, we have dealt with it all season, and look how that has turned out, but we will have to really show up ready to play on Saturday MBA-20 BA-13
  11. yes, but the head coach is not the only one whose experience counts, look at MBA's Counce Jr and Counce III, Brown, and especially Elliot
  12. it was moved from vandy to MTSU because a lot of the profits at vandy were going to the vanderbilt children's hospital, and the tssaa wanted more of the profits, so they moved it Its gonna be a great game, pretty low scoring, and hard fought. I give MBA the edge because they have a kicking game, which BA lacks MBA-20 BA-13
  13. no disrespect to BAs passing game, I would say that at least some of their success was due to EHS's absolutely horrendous secondary, while EHS had a decent team this year, their secondary was their weakest part besides their lines
  14. I am sure that this game will be similar to the first one, a battle of the defenses, low scoring, and fought in the trenches. Both teams have had great years, making it to state with two 1st year head coaches. While I have a bias, I dont see BA penetrating MBAs defense, the only points BA scored in the first game was a long td where the nose and left tackle both were undisciplined and came too far upfield, and Tate cut it up, which is what MBA is going to have to defend against, BAs speed. I do see MBAs offense doing better, with Waddey, MBAs hardnosed running back, back, Wise much more mobile, and Bailey having more power and speed than last time. While BA has a good D-Line, I believe that MBA has the best O-Line in the state. It probably will be a game that comes down to the kicking game. That is where MBA has the clear edge, with an outstanding sophmore kicker in Fletcher, who has done an incredible job stepping up this season. Because MBA has a better kicking game, Ill give them the edge. MBA: 20 BA: 13
