Obviously this game was a little one sided. Central doesn't compare to DB THIS year but maybe in a couple years when DB loses a lot of talented seniors they will. Had DB brought the intensity to the Boone game like they brought to Volunteer and Crockett...Boone would have been blown out the gym. DB didn't bring any intensity at all. They are starting to play really well at the right time of the year. We will see what happens as the conference winds down. I think they have learned their lesson that they have to focus for 32 minutes no matter who they are playing. However, tonight tennessee high should be able to pull out with a win tonight. Corey is a great player as is Nick Jones, but Tennessee High has the better team. Like I said, Boone forced DB to overtime due to the fact that DB never brought the intensity nor did they act like they wanted to be there. It was a terrible sight to see but Science Hill and DB are the top 2 teams right now. DB already beat TN High by about 17 earlier in the year at DB.

DB also didn't have their football players in that scrimmage. 5 quarters and DB won one and tied the other. Farragut won 3 but DB played all junior varsity players. So Farragut didn't win the scrimmage "easily"

How does everyone feel about the outcomes of the two D-B versus Science Hill games this season?

Dobyns-Bennett, I believe, can beat any team in that district this year. They will have arguably the biggest line-up in the whole state. 3 guards 6'3" who can really shoot the lights out, 6'8" post, 2 6'6" posts, 6'5" post. if anyone has a bigger line-up than that let me know.

Dobyns-Bennett has an extreme amount of talent. A lot of people are ruling out D-B because of the 5 seniors they lost...the team this year will be reloaded and BETTER than last year. And Greeneville...I was at the D-B Greeneville game at King College this summer. Dobyns-Bennett ran them out of the gym in every aspect of the game. Offense and defense. D-B is an offensively gifted team this year. Dobyns-Bennett stepped on Greeneville by 30 in that game this past summer...AND THAT WAS WITHOUT 2 OF THEIR BEST 3 GUARDS, Justin Sylvester and Dustin McConnell... Who does Maryville have left after last year's team?
