  1. This is all true. I would say two of the biggest reasons are that football and basketball draw in a lot more fans and money than XC. Another is that we live in the southeast which isn't really very big on XC, more football. I've heard that in the northwest running is a bigger sport but i wouldn't know b/c iv'e never been there.
  2. I hadn't ever heard of him until I went to McCallie and saw him run the mile. What did he run like a 4:16? Is he the best miler in the state (not just in D2)?

    A-AA

FRA has a meet in Costa Rica. It's in San Juan I think. I'm excited because I've never been to Latin America before
  4. Well for the predictions we might as well predict who will come in 2nd place, because we all know who is the odds on favorite to win the 8,16,and 32. The 4x8's will be very interesting b/c FRA lost their whole relay and I don't know how much station camp and MLK lose from their relays. I for one will bet that the mile doesn't start out in 75 like it did last year. A/AA had more talent than it's had in years in the mile but everyone started out really slow, so the resulting times were bad. I still don't know why everyone started out so slow, (but it didn't really matter for me b/c my legs were still dead from the 32). And Tallon, if you juice you should probably stop, b/c you might get drug tested like i did. But if your school doesn't have random drug tests then you can keep doing it. Just look on Tennessee runner at the picture of Micah Wasserman from MLK; I think that it's safe to say that their school doesn't have random drug tests http://tn.milesplit.us/athletes/126849
  5. Congrats to MLK and Mahaney. The thing that suprised me the most about this season was USJC: they got almost everyone back and i thought they would win but they didn't even come very close. lighten up on Coniglio, when you go to state as much as he has, your gonna have some bad races. MLK will not get 1,2,3 next year, but they are certainly the early favorites. Mahaney will probably win the 8,16, and the 32. Wasserman will be his top compition in the 8 and it should be a good race. Cole and Coniglio will challenge him in the 16 and 32 but i can't see Mahaney losing either of those races. if i spelled anyones name wrong i'm sorry
  6. That's very sad. i remember when she used to run for Macon County and she won the 3200 i think at section my sophmore year.
  7. um no, Konnor Kessler won't be top 5 unless he runs under 16:40. MLK is the best team, but don't count out USJC, they won last year and they still have a lot of talent, i don't know why they don't run at steeple.
  8. they probably won't post it because they didn't post it last year, but it will be in the newspaper.
  9. top 4 individuals will be about the same as last year. USJC will have some people in the top 10, MLK will have a couple people in the top 15. i don't know if any team has as much depth as station camp, they don't have anyone who is really really good, but i think that they have 10 guys under 20 (fra only has 3 or 4 i think).
  10. Top Teams 1. USJC- they need a 5th, but they are deffinatly the team to beat. 2. lost a lot of seniors, but they have the some of the best juniors in A/AA 3. toss up b/t Lipscomb, Station Camp, and Macon County. i'm gonna go with Station camp. FRA will probably finish in 6th or 7th
  11. Mahaney will win all 3.... but he will have to wait until next year to do it.
  12. I just learned a horrible truth about MLK's Stephen Wathen and Micah Wasserman. these two pictures lead me to believe that they are on steriods (as i have suspected of several years). http://tn.milesplit.us/athletes/73576 http://tn.milesplit.us/athletes/126849 I sincerely hope that this will be investigated and they will be banned from compitition, so that they don't tarnish our beloved sport. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. i was on Dyestat and i read one of the weirdest stories that i have ever read about nijas and 4:10 miles. read the first 2 posts. http://www.talk.dyestat.com/showthread.php?t=27561
  14. This board is getting really boringand i wish that i wasn't a camper
  15. Never ever ever go to Jack in the Box before you do a long run. I felt like i had a rock in my stomach. The cheeseburger and lemonade were bad ideas.
