What are everyone's thoughts on how the District will pan out. Also what players are worth keeping an eye out for.

two different players. it's like comparing shaq to kobe(I'm not saying these two compare to the latter) Horton may be better dribbler, shooter, passer, and Defensive. But these are on the perimeter. Stovall is better at all these down low. Stovall over horton inside the perimeter. Horton over stovall outside the perimeter. The only reason FC is out is because they stopped going to stovall down low in the second half. They definitely would have won had he gotten the ball.

Did Taylor resign???

I think he wants to play baseball more than anything. He passed on scholarships in football and basketball to play what he likes the most, baseball. I hope he made the right decision.

It's been a good year in 8AAA. Had fun bickering with everyone and talking about all the games. Good luck to all the seniors out there who are hopefully moving on to better things. From FC, Ryan Stovall, Philip Dixon, and Dana Jackson(Girls) we enjoyed watching you all play and everything you have done to make this one of the most successful years in FC history. It's been real. It's been fun. It's been real fun. Just remember, your contributions to the team will forever be remembered by the Rebel Faithful. GO REBS!! FC up by ten at half. Oakland came out with half court press in the second half and shut FC down. FC stopped working the ball to Stovall and lost. Tough loss, especially knowing that the game was within grasp. Coach did not step up and make the necessary adjustments to win the game. When your guaranteed points (Stovall) doesn't get the ball at all in the third quarter, and finally gets it in the fourth off a rebound, your gameplan failed. FC should have won.

Lawrence County will not stand a chance in this game.

Brandon Hall is good. Tall, but no muscle. Can be bullied down low. Tryston Horton is best all around. Quick, great shot inside and out. Sometimes presses to hard to make a shot. Haugen is pure shooter. Can fire the ball from trey land. A couple of others can also shoot the three ball.

Today is the day we see how the cookies will crumble. Good luck to all teams and hopefully we have no controversial wins. The teams have come too far to be beaten by the refs or any other controversies. May the best team win.

FC beat Blackman earlier this year. Blackman beat FC later on in the year because FC had three starters out with injury or sickness. They probably could have played, but the coach decided to sit them knowing that winning the game would not improve their postseason position. I agree the 7AAA is loaded but when you think of the 8AAA don't forget the FC.

I like how nobody is giving my Rebels a shot at all. They have been playing the underdog all year and I guarantee they will surprise some at the regionals.

No one really knows the whole story. I'm sure the coach has his reasons why he let them play. Are they really suspended from school? If they were they shouldn't be allowed to compete in school athletics. The whole truth isn't out. Maybe someone from T-town can inform us.
