Any strong candidates for HC at Cane Ridge.

Ok with Williamson Co (year 3), MNPS (year 2), and Clarksville-Montgomery Co (year 2) what other counties and private schools are looking to participate in GFF? Heard Hamilton Co and some Upper Cumberland schools have started programs this year. Anything in the East/Knoxville and West/Memphis areas?

Going to be a really fun and exciting sport for young ladies in the state.

Brand new school but Liberty Creek in Sumner Co. is fabulous. Grass playing surface is below street level, players enter down turf covered end zone ramp between terraced grass camp chair seating. Large home stands with big press box. More than ample visiting stands. Plenty of sideline room, brick posts with rod iron fencing around the field. Giles Co, Monterey, CPA, Ensworth all have great features also.

On Friday MNPS held their flag football final four. Game 1 Overton upset Pearl Cohn 16-15 in 3ot, game 2 Hillsboro defeated Hume Fogg 26-0. And in the finals Hillsboro defeated Overton 7-0 to claim the first MNPS flag football championship.

Williamson Co and Clarksville/Montgomery Co have crowned champions in their respective leagues. Ravenwood repeats as Champion in Williamson Co with a win over Summit. And West Creek defeated Montgomery Central to become the inaugural Montgomery Co Champion. Metro Nashville has their Final Four today at Hillsboro with semi-finals starting at 4 and 5 and finals at 6:30.

Each site hosts three games at Franklin with Centennial and Page at Nolensville with Ravenwood and Brentwood at Fairview with Independence and Summit Games start at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 at each site.

This has been a point of emphasis in football long before now. It all started with Tebow messages on the eye black strips. Then the "war paint" face became the P. O. E. It's a constant battle for football officials. NFHS says one swipe below each eye. And wearing jewelry has always been a no-no. It's not hard to handle just make them wipe it off during pregame.

I think the part that most people are missing here is its not necessarily Nashville not wanting the championships in the past. But more to the point that the Titans said they want to host the Blue Cross Bowl and have facilities (turf not grass) to host 9 games in 3 days. Plus Titans could better tie in the Mr Football awards in with the Blue Cross Bowl.

CPA already has 10 game schedule for 2023 (2024?)

Glencliff has consistently had less than forty on their roster for a good while and that's with 9-12 all playing varsity. They have no freshman team and don't play JV because of lack of bodies. Three or four years ago they barely had 20 kids playing had to beg some kids to play, there were a few weeks that they played with something like 18 players. Have had many play OL weighing under 150 lbs. Hard to play 48 min (both ways) against guys who out weigh you by 75-100 lbs. I think you could look at a school's record over a 6 to 8 year span and if you were one of the 5 smallest in your classification and you have won less than 20% of your games maybe consider allowing a school to play down for a minimum of one classification period. Just an idea. Because I don't think a school would purposely go 1-9 or 2-8 over 6 to 8 years.
