So you answered the question, the team wasn't picked from the tryouts. It was picked before the tryouts. To answer your question, who cares, probably the 70 or 80 players and their parents that went to the tryout hoping to get a fair shake.

I think it would be better for the coach of the team to put out a roster and what school they are from. The SD coach has retired. Two years ago, not one player tried out from Anderson County yet they had several players on this team. Are we picking from tryouts or other ways? Maybe someone could or would shed some thoughts on this?

Sometimes you don't play up to your potential and just get beat. Example was last years district tournament with LC beating Farragut. Everyone is playing alot of games because of earlier rainouts. They should have cancelled the game since it was not district if they didn't want to play. PF had everything to gain and nothing to lose. No doubt the admirals have alot of ability, but that is why you play the game to see on any given day who might be the winner. Harveston in my opinion is PF's best player. Have a great day!

He is a 17 year old sophomore. Perfect game ratings on players for the most part are stretched to say the least. Saying he has nothing to play for is a misstatement in my opinion. Remember attitude means everything in baseball.

Anderson County has a good team. They have a chance in my opinion to do well. After a year or two the talent level will go down some after losing out of county talent. I wonder if the talent level will go up at a school up near the Smoky Mountains??

They are young and inexperienced. They beat Oak Ridge in the Adidas Classic 7-2 on Thursday night.

I feel the main goal of any high school player should be to get a good education. Playing baseball can help pay for this education and also have a good GPA and ACT score can also help pay for your education. Playing D1 or D2 or NAIA doesn't matter in my opinion. Get that education, baseball does not last forever!

That's a big statement that I will have to see. There are alot of factors in pitching besides throwing. Time will tell. I wish him good luck in the future.
