The Sequoyah Chiefs are playing extremely well so far. Wins - Alcoa, Webb, Oak Ridge, Stone Memorial(Twice), McMinn County (twice), Kingston The new bats have not slowed down their offense. They have 11 different players that have went deep this season. They have 3-4 players that have hit more than 2 HR. Pitching has been sound - Debity, Johnson, and Mckane. J. Watson (No Hitter vs Sweetwater) Keep up the good work Chiefs! This team has a great shot of making it to the State Tournament this year! GO CHIEFS!

Cheifs beat CAK today 12-9!

The Chiefs will win the District again this year! They will miss Allen, Coley, and Helms who all are playing college baseball. They have depth at a lot of positions look for Depity, McKane, Johnson, and Dalton to anchor the pitching staff. They will be able to hit from top to bottom of their lineup. Good Luck Chiefs!

Chiefs had a big upset win last week against red bank. No one gave us a chance. Nothing changes this week no chance again. Chiefs will shock everyone again! Chiefs 28-24.

The Chiefs are too busy fighting about the new Black Jersey's! Maybe the team will wear Blue ones this week! That is all the Vonore Croud cares about! Lets get behind our guys tonight and support them no matter if you are from Vonore or Madisonville. Maybe some day people will realize there is no Vonore or Madisonville high schools anymore. These guys deserve all of the community support (both vonore and madisonville)! It does not matter what color the team wears it is still SEQUOYAH HIGH SCHOOL CHIEFS!!!!!! Chiefs win a close one tonight 28-21. GO CHIEFS!!!!

It is not so much of what Meigs did to us but this is a tough matchup for the Chiefs. LC strength is throwing the ball and I think that is where the Chiefs will struggle the most. If the Chiefs can establish the run and work on the clock and keep LC offense off the field then they can keep it close. If the chiefs turn the ball over they are in for a long night. Chiefs football is ready to follow suite with Basketball and Baseball. Chiefs Basketball and Baseball both won the District last season and football looks to claim it's stake this year. I Know it was not possible, in the eyes of many, last year for Basketball and baseball but the Chiefs proved everyone wrong. Chiefs win this contest 21-7. The Chiefs offense is much improved with Dyer, McKane, and Huffman carrying the load. The biggest improvement is on Defense. Chiefs are still very young upfront and should continue to improve week to week. Good luck! Go CHIEFS!

You have once again underestimated this Chief. Allen has been throwing 91-93 consistanly. He is waying his options (MLB or college). He has an offer from the KC Royals and has several college options to choose from. Maybe you should ask the local coaches? They would all love to have him as a player!
