  1. Oakland by 14? Ok we almost beat you guys I think you all got reallll lucky; it took 4 OTs to kill the Dawgs in the regular season. Imagine how long it'll take in the playoffs. Close game either way.
  2. It's going to be a great game and only one Region 4 team will remain after it. Personally after seeing Riverdale vs. Smyrna a couple of years ago it's to the Bulldogs advantage to lose in the regular season and then come back and win in the playoffs. And Smyrna has allowed all of 2 points so far in the playoffs and if they hadn't lost their mind on that one series and allowed a safety they would have back-to-back shutouts. So give the Bulldogs D so cred. Plus the ground game and the fact they have won 7 of 8 makes me pick the Dawgs. Don't discount Oakland though. Don't do it. Smyrna 10, Oakland 7
  3. Has Smyrna ever lost to WC? As far as I know the last four times we played them we've won.
  4. If they had gone by overall record like everyone else in the business does then they would have never been in the picture. But it's "only the region games count" league so they made it in. That's the only way they get in at any level.
  5. I know it's early but who do you think will win? Personally...if WC loses to Smyrna again...this could become a recurring theme for both teams. It could be what Riverdale used to do to Smyrna. Smyrna this time does it to WC. Close game, Smyrna tops WC 21-17.
  6. ..............Or maybe it's because THEY ARE 3 AND 7!!! Seriously what the heck were they doing in the playoffs? They had no business being here...or any right to be in.
  7. As long as Siegel wins those four are in. Why would they give Blackman the benefit of losing the tiebreaker to both Smyrna and WC?
  8. So Siegel's the only one not guaranteed a playoff spot in the teams that remain? And way to go dawgs! Unbelievable we actually CAN beat them more than once. And in a year where, let's face it, it hasn't been exactly great. Even if they were that bad, it's still the Riverdale-Smyrna rivalry and it's going to take a long time to even up that rivalry lol.
  9. And the Dawgs somehow won...in normal conditions we would have lost. 7 to 6 final.
  10. Smyrna should be an above .500 team again this year...I don't expect LaVergne to beat them just because they have never beaten them (well maybe that ONE time) and that Riverdale game is going to be rough. I think they'll beat Oakland and Siegel. Idk about W.C. but they should be back; they made a great run last year. And Lebanon flat out got lucky last year. I think a three-peat will be tough but it's doable. As long as the defense and Bryson have good seasons we will contend for another title...
  11. Yep it certainly does... Ravenwood will lose by at least 5 runs tomorrow...and Science Hill might win one game but two in a row against the defending champions doesn't seem likely.
  12. I'm not leaving sorry to disappoint you... And so what about Smyrna? I could care less it's in the past. I'm just stating my opinions on here; you guys can either accept them or don't. I don't care. I'm stating my mind that's what this is for. Just because I have different views on the game doesn't mean I'm wrong and should be exiled.
  13. Ravenwood beat Lincoln County in a high scoring game. So that means Ravenwood will have the right to lose to Farragut tomorrow. And Science Hill will look for revenge against Bartlett but I'm sticking with Bartlett. And Oakland lost...so...I'm not going to go on a rant about how glad I am about it but I will stay this... HA...HA...HA... And that's all I have to say about that.
  14. Haha guess so /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Any updates in the losing brackets in AAA?
