The games were very physical from where I sat. The ref's let the boys play pretty hard. Lot's of contact but it seemed to be pretty even handed (for the most part)

Someone in an earlier post said Bolivar was 'QUICK', the caps emphisis was his. Maybe he should have underlined it as well. Very, very quick team. The above was attributed to Coach Melton. Speaks volumes when the coach says that. As others have said. The better team won tonight, no doubt. Congratulations to Bolivar and good luck with the rest of the tourny! Probably the most honest post of the thread. I'm pulling for LA because, well that's my bias. The truth is that the AA title is a crap shoot. IF Bolivor, LA or Fulton make it to the finals they may be too beat up to compete with what should be the underdog opponent. That was my responsible post for today. Superb pressure to force mistakes combined with GC's ability to immediately capitalize on those mistakes. GC is a better team and sometimes the better team does win. What can we say. Just to get all the answers on one page, I'm hoping someone who went to the girls game can help me out. I understand the tickets are $7 for all day? And we can exit and re-enter the building? Will they be selling the good-all-tourny reserved seating 'necklaces' at the gate? Anyone know how much they will cost? And finally, how much is parking this year. I'm assuming we can't leave the parking lot without paying again to come back in. Thanks in advance!

Congratulations to GC for their win and the championship. It was well earned! You put defensive pressure on the floor that is nothing short of amazing. My hat is off to you girls. The girls from LA have every reason to hold you head high. You proved you deserved to be in that game. You lost to a very, very talented team. No shame in the fight you fought. LA will be here next year..count on it!
