  1. Trivia question: Who was the last Indy QB to put any points on the board against Franklin in the past two years? Little clue--his number wasn't 7 and he did put up 21 in a little more than a quarter but still wasn't considered good enough. Blind faith can kill you sometimes What is really amazing are the assumptions and conclusions made by others based on observations/guesses and the continued blind support of a progam that can't or won't admit mistakes and at least try to address them in a fashion that gives their team a chance. How well prepared do you think this program will be for next year when there has not been one meaningfull varsity game snap taken by someone other than #7? Isn't that part of coaching--to prepare and bring others along for the future? Maybe not. Just an assumption, I guess. . Nice to see you again Mr. Smith... Back posting on this board and bashing # 7-glad you can make fun of 17 year old high school football player YOUR TRIVIA QUESTION showed alot of class.... I have a trivia question , WHOM CAUGHT NICK SMITHS last pass before he was yanked out at halftime and lost his starting QB position for the rest of the year ? ANSWER: Damonta Williams of Memphis East a pick 6 ( remember a slip screen think smith was color blind ) WAIT it gets better you stated the following """"How well prepared do you think this program will be for next year when there has not been one meaningfull varsity game snap taken by someone other than #7? Isn't that part of coaching--to prepare and bring others along for the future? """" what the heck are you talking about, what did you want Eubanks to do, rotate QB's or let A. Thompson takes snaps from time to time - I guess Rector was an idiot as well for never letting anyone else take snaps or preparing another QB for Jennings or Becker ? Wait coach for Smyrna he was a fool ( i looked up the stats ) he was a fool as well, he didnt let anyone take a "meanigfull snap" when Sonny Gray was thier and they done well the following year... after the hamburlar was released from the team and Jay Cutler ( sorry i mean nick ) was yanked a sophmore came on whom never took a varstiy snap and he set the league on fire and in fact still holds state record for paassing yds in a state championship game.. For the record heckman is a warrior- yes he was let down by horrible coaching and play calling - i told you last year a member of RHS coaching staff told me " IHS was too predictable" how did ur boy do intramural football this year? Is Heckman getting any looks, D1 or otherwise? Thanks. lololol Keep posting and guessing. It's good laughs, really. Two blind mice......two blind mice......
  2. The same place he has been for the last three games against Franklin--in the headlights. It is amazing to all that you only come out of your hole when Indy loses. You know you may finally get your wish but it is not going to change the fact that your son lost his spot fair and square on the field of play. Get over it and move on. Obviously your son has. What is really amazing are the assumptions and conclusions made by others based on observations/guesses and the continued blind support of a progam that can't or won't admit mistakes and at least try to address them in a fashion that gives their team a chance. Trust me, I've resisted commenting on this board many times during this season about QB/RB stats/etc(or lack thereof). But the question asked about where was #7 begged to be answered. I'll try not to upset you bandwagoners too much with any additional posts. Enjoy the new coach/program next year. It's bound to be an improvement and once again you can all follow blindly without questioning. It will at least provide interesting and amusing reading.

  4. Everything I've heard about this game leads me to believe that this was a great team effort by the Eagles spoiled by some blatant "home cooking" in Brentwood. Since both Tennessean "experts" had already given this game to Brentwood, we are denied any coverage/facts/stats/etc.. that would shed some light on who did what when. Sad state of affairs if you ask me when two rival wilco teams play such a game and aren't even considered worthy of a line in the newspaper. Previous post was correct in it's description of Tennesean sports coverage, or lack thereof. Hold your head up and keep playing hard boys and maybe by the end of the season someone will notice. Sort of like the time y'all went to sate. As I recall there wasn't much coverage of Eagles football early in that season either.
  5. I'll post when and where I choose, thank you very much. Again with the denial of freedom of expression! Ya'll are amazing!
  6. Excellent example of what I was referencing. No matter what the score, record, etc....do not dare offer constructive criticism that may be construed as negative. As a former resigned Vice President once opined, no more " nattering naybobs of negativity ". No wonder he resigned! Stay blind. No candles wanted, needed, or accepted. Should be interesting after tonight's "Coffee" fest!
  7. See the post regarding questioning the ability of the Indy Gods. Carefull now you are begining to show doubt. This is not well tolerated as you should know.
  8. You need to watch those type of observations on these boards. Most participants here consider any talk of that kind treasonous and subject to calling for a boycott of your posts. You're treading a thin line here. Keep to the right! Keep to the right! Be a good little banwagoner now and brighten up. The season has just started and there's always another day, etc.. etc... etc....
  9. Good to hear they had an impressive win on the road to open the season. Also good to hear that the yards are being spread around more. That should make it a little harder to defend now. Good job and congrats. Good luck against Oakland!
  10. Enjoy the Hurricane season!! So much common ground.
  11. Well well well! Mr. big time scout has decided to show his expertise on kid bashing. I bow to your more experienced kid bashing/ name calling. Real class! And what are you talking about "racial verbage". The allusion (look it up) was to blind obedience. Keep on scouting for those big ten teams. I'm sure they appreciate you proven expertise.
  12. Ouch! And I'm cosidered negative? Yikes!
  13. Other posters.....listen to der fuerer. Sig Heil!!!!!! Blindly follow and refuse to see or listen to any other opinions but the rah rahs. Go Eagles!!!!!!!!! And this has nothning to do with thomas berry or terone sheppard or taylor adams or nick smith or any of the other players from last years team.(they lost a lot of talent with that group didn't they? Well some were rarely used anyway so it shouldn't matter much right?). My Heisman comment was only ment to illustrate what was and still seems to be a problem ---an over rated QB allowed to continue in a postion after abject failure and build his ego to epic proportions at the expense of team play. Heisman was on the locker last year. And this seemed to be OK with all? You reap what you sow. Or so it is said. Ps-agree with your assessment of Fridays game however negative/positive that may be.
  14. Don't know about Heisman's, opps, Heckman's shoulder (sorry about the slip there but that was the name on the locker last year). I hope they stay pumped for Friday and somehow between now and then develop a running game and some other things to do offensively that will actually surprise some people and give them a shot at some wins this year. Tall order, I know, but it could happen. Get it done Eagles!
