I am suprised that anyone can point the finger in a negative way at Farragut. Yes the foul was uncalled for (especially in a non-elimination game) but Muth obviously played the game to WIN. Farragut def knew that if they won that game, WEST would be next( it was in the paper Sat morning). They could have easily tanked that game and played a weaker opponent in OR. THen what would everyone be saying....? No matter what they do, they are ridiculed by others that are jealous. BE THANKFUL to BHS and FHS for earning the whole state of TN's respect. (lcsoccer is a prime example) The other players that congratulated him wanted to win also....thats why they were excited! If Muth would have hurt the MRYVILLE player from behind, there would have been no congratulations from anyone. There was respect from both teams on that field the entire time. As for west losing to OR, this is a classic WEST team. They compete all year long, and then when it really matters, they buckle. If anyone has seen them play, they argue with each other and the REF more than they play the game. That is just the way it is and has been for years. History repeats itself in most sports. OR vs. Farragut in the state finals a couple years ago ring a bell?????? OR and Farragut will advance good luck to all 4 teams

did anyone ever find out why the studs are not starting(did they start against sevier counnty)? i know coach Turner has his ways of doing things, butt am really curious to know what they did to get benched. was it because they quit in the LC game or what? good luck with houston on thursday! represent e.tenn for us all! GAMEBALL- BigG never said that coaching would be alot of this game. He said what is brought that night from the teams is what counts. E.Tenn soccer is primetime and this game is always great to watch. I personally feel that E.Turner knows what his team is capable of and like I said before....Bearden will be angry! I look forward to the outcome and will be in Farragut's stadium to watch. As for a prediction in this one, there WILL be goals. Yes....more than expected. Bearden WINS 4-2. There were 2-3 times the ball was cleared off the line. West should have scored at least one of them, but....they cannot finish:) (Just playing about them not being able to finish) Every team has their day, and Farragut was the better team yesterday. West has a great, yes great team, and have alot of heart. They work hard for each other on every play and it will pay off for them in the long run. Farragut is always execptional when they play in big games and proved they are still the team to beat. ONE thing that I will say about West...they flop/fall/dive/fake almost every other play. As a East TN soccer fan, it was hard for me to watch how many fouls (on both sides) there were throughout the game. West had Farragut very unorganized the first 15-20 minutes of the game. Then Farragut scored on a header and they gained their composure back. In the 2nd half, WEST owned 35 minutes of it. Overall, we do not need refs in the goals, that is how the game is played(could have gone either way). I give credit to Farragut for showing guts and fighting this WIN out, and give credit to WEST for showing that they are for real. Great game from both sides! Cant wait to watch Bearden/Farragut on Friday:) Bearden should be nice and angry after a LOSS to West, and then a TIE from LC. Eric Turner will have his team ready! You can count on that !!!!!!!
