  1. Theres no doubt in my mind that Judah Akers from Cookeville is the BEST player in 7-AAA. Ya Sisco is good but I dont think he is nearly as good everyone makes him out to be, people talk like he's the next price in 7-AAA. Not only is Judah a great player but a great kid, I think he has been top 5 in doubles in the state the past three years... thats my vote.
  2. Well Sisco is a good ball player but not as good as bowers in my opinion. but I've never seen those farley and cox kids play so can't judge. but sounds like a good game then
  3. Ok lets put it in a more understandable terms. Bowers is a better all around BASEBALL player. Runs Very Well. Great Arm. Great stick with tons of opposite field power and can hit to all fields. sisco can swing it. but heard he lost to a Babe Ruth team?? can't be that good.
  4. Cody Liddle is a GREAT ball player! have seen him play as well! also a great kid. has a bright future in the game. Bowers can change the game with one swing. has tons of power with tons of speed! but sisco doesn't impress me much at all.
  5. Who made the all distrtict team?
  6. Coach Chaffin is not only one of the most respected coaches in the state but one of the biggest competitors throughout all the coaches, He wants to win more than anyone. That program has came a long long way. No one is better for the job than him. Starting jobs aren't just given away you have to earn them. The only other kid I've heard of playing short from that team is akers but he's also a great outfielder. But when they came up here to play the short stop looked very solid
  7. I'm not really familiar with the other coaches except tubbs and what better to ask for than a guy that played in the majors for a few years to help out the hitters. No Coaching staff prepares a line-up trying to lose a game. I couldn't make it to the game but I guarantee they played as hard as they could and left it all on the field. Its Baseball. You win some and you lose some. and hopefully most of those seniors will go on to play college ball somewhere
  8. Congrats to cookeville on a great season and being district champs! and no matter who played in the line up I'm sure they did not want to lose and gave it all they had and that program up there is one of the best and coach chaffin runs it well. best of luck to all the seniors.
