Everything that happens in college appears to keep trickling down to high school.

The wing-T, veer, and/or triple option would give most college team fits. Creasy has proven that he can coach on a superior level. Can Creasy hire the right coaches and recruit? Give him the opportunity! MTSU should ask to talk to him.

Historically, the problem has been that the some of the "privates" have not maintained the existing rules. Clearly, the number one rule that keeps tripping up the "privates" is recruiting. Yes, it is not every "private," and there are plenty of "public" schools that bend and break rules as well. It would not matter what association the "privates" were in -- if private schools keeps bending and breaking the rules. Why don't the headmasters stop the nonsense of recruiting? Seriously, who wants recruiting in Tennessee high school sports? Please show me a tuba player than any high school in Tennessee has recruited! The insane desire to win has corrupted high school sports across the land, not just in Tennessee.

Explain it as though I am a 10-year old -- why rank a team over the 3-peat champion until someone in-state beats them?

I forgot about the rule change. Thank you for the clarification. NFHS Football Rule 3-1-2 (Mercy Rule); Beginning in the second half, if the point differential is 30 points or more, a continuous clock will be used. The clock will only stop for charged time-outs, injuries, and scores. The try will always be an un-timed down. The clock shall start when the ball is kicked on the kickoff. If the point differential goes below 30 points, go back to regular timing rules
