Did the kid who plays second base for Dyersburg State get drafted. Can't remember his name. The kid from Houston High School is Daniel Palo-MTSU signee

We never saw a roster until we were in Nashville for the games last year. And the program with all the players listed by regions were 1.00-they had all the players info and what color team they would play for-it was nice to look at. I just pulled out the one from last year and there is not a number or a webite listed to contact about the roster. I have never seen the roster listed on the TBCA website-not sure why the big mystery. Hope that helps a little

My son was selected last year as a senior and his coach told him personally to go to the tryouts along with a couple others on the team. The boys he told personally to go to tryouts made the team-the others that "heard" about the tryouts that went to tryouts did not make the team. I truly think the coaches know who will be selected before tryouts. I know he got more exposure at the TBCA than he did playing for one of our elite summer travel teams.

How tragic!! We will say an extra prayer tonight for this entire community. I just cannot imagine what this team and parents are going through.

You must be talking about White Station basketball?? I don't know if White Station baseball has ever won districts? And congrats to Farragut and thanks for the score updates from Spring Fling!!

So it sounds like I need to take the extender off at night and I need to manually get the camera's iso to 3200 and work down from there. I think I have only had the iso to 1600 but I can manually raise it. Yes, I have the expensive lens and they were out of the lens with the built in stabilizer and I didn't want to wait-wish I would have now. I'll let you know how it works out. The Germantown Baseball pictures on Coach T's site are taken by me and you can see the difference in the day and night pictures. Thanks for all the advice!!

I have the Canon 70-200mm lens and the Canon 1.4 Extender. I have tried various settings on the camera. My son pitches and the action shots during the day are great but once the sun goes down and the flash is not allowed my pictures are blurry and I sure don't get the action shots. Same thing with the kids batting-great pictures during the day but blurry bat at night. My daughters play soccer and same scenerio.

I have a question about the polls. How are they based and who does the polling? Are they based on district play, tournaments, etc? For instance, the Dandy Dozen in the Commercial Appeal-is that someone's opinion? I just wondered because if you base polls on wins and loses and number of games played how can one team be so far ahead of another when the numbers just don't had up. Does last year's results have anything to do with this years polls? hey hey I took that picture!! that coach was so great. We were getting ready to play against them and he told me not to take his picture and he sure better not see it on the website. Well, you saw it. He will never live it down.

I will David. We had a great time-the boys had a great time. How many t-shirts do you have left over? tons? It's always nice to play teams "out of our comfort zone" if there is one. Our boys that have committed to play at the next level got to meet other boys that will be with them in the fall. It is cold and raining right now in Memphis!!
