  1. Mays wanted to be sure Coach recognized him so he took his helmet off.
  2. Congrats to Coach Hunt on his first of many wins! What a game!
  3. He was a huge part of the game last night. I watched him coach and encourage the D ends all night on the sidelines and during timeouts. Great example of leadership. Great Young man!
  4. This info is correct. The danger of the 2 piece helmet is lack of coverage to the ear area. Inexperienced catchers will sometimes turn their head instead of tucking their chin when they have a ball in the dirt.
  5. Great game last night. Maryville responded very well after falling behind to a very strong and talented Fulton squad. Ervin had a heck of a game. Cobb showed a lot of toughness, glad he had the score in the 4th. Lots of work still needed but the rebels will improve each week. Great win for the program.
  6. How about the bathrooms in the basement of the old gym/art room/shop? I believe there was even a pool down there that was used as storage.

  8. Rebels played a very good Stillwater, OK team last night. It was a respectable 4-1 loss. Defense and pitching are both improving game to game. The team hitting needs to improve, but it's early and the boys haven't seen a lot of live pitching. This experience is very valuable and will elevate their readiness for district play. Lots of Maryville supporters at the games, even had a guest appearance from Coach N. White last night, I think he was in the area doing a little recrutin on a tip from STARs. Sx has the eating establishments figured out. Peel and eat shrimp, popcorn shrimp, shrimp kabobs, .....
  9. Good to see you today! Thank for supporting Coach Sully and crew. I think it will be a fun year and the boys will win more than they should. Since we don't have a sidewalk to claim yet, are you the protector of the gravel?
  10. My understanding is Year 1 will be bring your own seats. Concession Stand/Press box and bleachers will be phase 2. Everything is looking great, they are building a 1st class facility. Coach Sullivan is also building a 1st class program. RW, when I win that big ole cow, I'll bring you a bunch of steaks for all the times you have saved me a seat.
  11. Congratulations to Ravenwood on a well deserved win. We made too many mistakes and didn't execute as well as we normally do but I think you have to give Ravenwood credit for that. I felt their D line was a major cause. They limited our run game, pressured our QB and allowed 7-8 to drop back into coverage. To our seniors, Thank you for years of dedication to this game and for representing your families, school, and community so well. What a run it was! Great group of young men. Coaches, our guys walked off the field last night as winners because they will be better community members, husbands, and fathers because of your impact in their lives. Thank you for your investment in these young men.
  12. Why are you here? Mom not monitoring your pc time?
  13. People who follow the team that they played for and the kids that they know that live in their community, that is pride in your program. That is what Pepvol is about. People who should be thanking their kids for their hard work and a good season and then moving on to supporting their basketball program but instead trolling on other teams thread is comical and the loser called mjgoldenbear. I can predict you in your mom's basement with your computer wishing you were ever part of building a real program like Pepvol did.
  14. Matthew Cone was solid last night. He was 5 for 6 on field goals for 6 points! The field goal (3 field goals) that he made before the half increased momentum going into the locker room. Great execution by Cone, Kelby Brock (holder), and Ben Shirley (long snapper).
  15. Maryville's Offense and Defense struggled at times but got the job done when needed. Like sx, I give Oakland a lot of credit for those struggles. I loved the way our boys stepped up to the challenge. Oakland started the game by forcing a 3 and out then ran it down out throats all the way down the field but we stiffened. We got punched in the mouth early and responded like champs. Love the fight in this years team.
