  1. Hey Tennessee. I count 8 -14U Tennessee teams in the Big Show. How about some support for these girls.
  2. While Sluggerfest was able to assemble 33-16U teams for their tournament, the majority of the top-tier Ohio and Indiana 16U teams were competing in an ASA/USA National Qualifier in Ashland, Ohio or they were at Compuware, a showcase in Canton, MI. Sluggerfest was not an ASA/USA Qualifier for 16U that weekend. All that it takes for a team to go ASA Gold is to register. That's it, nothing else. Of course, when they do that, they place restrictions on themselves. There is no way to tell if an ASA Gold team is just as good as any other team. But, the playing pool is much smaller and the exposure factor is greater.
  3. To be a true ASA Gold team, all they have to do is register as a Gold team. Once they register and submit their roster, there are restrictions upon that team. They cannot play in any ASA event that leads to the 18U ASA/USA Championship (National Qualifiers, Regional Qualifiers, Metro Qualifiers, any tournamemt that will award a bid to the 18U ASA/USA Championship). They can still participate in invitationals and showcases as long as no berths are being awarded.
  4. Where is the info on the ACE requirement and background check coming from? I have looked through the 2009 ASA Code changes and the 2009 ASA Rules changes and I do not see it.

  6. It appears that the Music City Hits website is down. Does anyone have an email contact or another website ?
