  1. This is certainly not what I implied and not at all where I was going with the subject. From my previous posts: "I would hope your school and its officials would offer more consideration if a situation such as this were to come up again." "Simply, CPA had the option but chose one that I happen to disagree with. My opinion, that's all." Fact: School would not change the time of the game. MY Opinion: Due to weather warnings, the time or date of game should have been changed. I did not say I was right or CPA is wrong. I merely stated that i disagreed with their choice not to change the game time. Not one harsh word.
  2. You need to read my original post again. First of all, I never "jumped" on a player or fan. I simply stated that CPA was asked to change the time and would not do so. Secondly, I commend GCHS administration because they did all they could to change the time of the game. I understand the gym may have already been in use and do not dispute that in any way. However, there were some region games that were moved to Monday. Simply, CPA had the option but chose one that I happen to disagree with. My opinion, that's all.
  3. I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but it is an absolute fact that CPA was asked to move the time of the game and they would not do so.
  4. A team, their coaches and fans were put in harms way, returning home on very dangerous road conditions. CPA refused to change the time. Playing the game even one hour early would have beat the storm.
  5. Who can even remember what went on in the game? It is the events that followed that will always stick out in my mind. Thanks CPA for caring so much about GCHS players and fans! With weather warnings issued throughout the day, most region games in our area were moved to earlier times to avoid the impending weather conditions. CPA would not schedule the game for an earlier time. Your team, your parents and fans returned home with ease; players tucked safely in their beds. Our team endured a near 3 hour bus ride home in sleet and snow, witnessing wreck after wreck, including the wreck of one of our own fans returning from the game. Fortunately no one was injured. The team, thanks to a great bus driver, finally rolled in near midnight. So enjoy your victory! Our victory is that all of our players, friends and family, made it home without serious injury or worse! I would hope your school and its officials would offer more consideration if a situation such as this were to come up again. Go Marshall County!
  6. What on earth does any of this crap have to do with the game tonight? Ridiculous /excl.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":excl:" border="0" alt="excl.gif" />
