Always good to hear the fellas are working hard in the weight room. Just curious how were Gilliam's numbers in the weight room? Has he put on much size or strength? Also what about the other potential O-Lineman are they putting up good numbers?

Farragut still has a GREAT record, 25-4? i believe. Just Bearden plays them very tough, and Bearden is a pretty good team. But Farragut will win when it counts the most.

Maryville will be on top until someone knocks them off. They are in a tought new district so it will be interesting to see how they will do, just as it will to see how all the other teams in that district too.

What is the scrimmage schedule for spring? Besides the Blue-Gray game.

All i know is the Blue-Gray game is on a saturday again, either May 2nd or May 9th not sure though.

Pate's DL Assistant was Kenny Mubarak. He played for Farragut a couple of years ago. Solid Kid and knows his football but he is also in college so he will not be able to make the full time commitment to be the DL coach, even though i would like to see him there because of his passion for tha game. Sorry i have not been on here so long, someone explain to me the Coach D and Coach Pate deals please. And to add to Sweetland coaching the O-line too, that could be a little much for him, i would expect Coach Courtney to take over the linemen in the spring until they find a good hire for fall. But i guess we wont know until then. Also when does spring ball start? What is the scrimmage schedule?

Bearden is a good team but good for Tennessee not good nationally. I mean go to Oak Hills website every player ....literally is being recrutied by top notch D-1 schools and alot of them are juniors! Bearden might keep it close in the first minutes but this will be a 15-20 point game. This will show us Tennessee fans some of the best players in country. I cant wait to go watch it but dont go if you thing its going to be a close game you will be disappointed.

Well not "big boys" anymore since HArdin Vally takes all our kids now. But yes i believe it is week 2. Should be a fun game we will be a little down but all of our athletes will be back. Oh and congrats on the Gold!!

Exactly, good post. I can see next year going really well or not so hot. Farragut has had the teams to win state the last couple of years but seems to keep having the "one" game where they dont show up, or in this years case only one side of the ball shows up. I dont see Farragut having the success that these last couple of teams have and to make matters worse the schedule is BRUTAL! But that is why we play the game.

Regardless, it is avery flawed system. Maybe we should just go ti the BCS that looks to solve alot of problems.

Off Topic but...... Excited to play yall next year. I know Catholic is a good 3-A but should interesting to see what you all do with our district. No trash talk now becuase i want to beat the defending state champs!
