  1. roberts is best overall short stop IMO. he is big time at the plate.
  2. central and north scrimmage today
  3. central has 2 of the best hitters in the area returning in hyden and roberts. look for tyler walling to be strong at the plate too.
  4. sullivan south announced 3 signings yesterday. qb davenport to tusculum. lineman beedle to tennessee tech. running back fletcher to charleston (wv). sullivan central's tight end/defensive end, matt crowder signed with ivy league's cornell. his brother, michael (center), is already at princeton.
  5. central played awesome against east tuesday. they need to show up with that intensity every night.
  6. central won a close one over boone. here is the combo that works. box, roberts, vannoy, albright, and devault...yes, i said box. when he was in the game, they moved the ball and really clicked on offense. roberts and vannoy did a great job tonight. things are moving in the right direction.
  7. central needs to find a combination that works. devault and albright looked good tonight, but the real standout was box. i think he surprised a lot of people. he played with poise and did a great job. good job, austin!
  8. sixton. you either are vannoy or related to him. i disagree with your assessment of central.
  9. south shot the lights out. the sims kid looked really good. central's shots weren't falling. roberts was out most of the game with a virus. if central can get healthy and have a chance to build some chemistry, they may turn things around. devault looked good, but had too many turnovers.
  10. it was too holston and roberts was MVP of the tournament.
  11. central did a great job especially considering DB hacked and bodied them all night. central couldn't look at DB without getting a fouled called.
  12. good luck, central. keep those hits coming, box.
  13. obviously a lot of people care about football at central. everyone needs to pull together and focus on trying to make the best out what is left of the season. we have some real opportunities here in the next few weeks. no pointing fingers...everyone...each and every player, fan, parent, and coach needs to focus on finishing strong.
  14. the gilliam kid for north has done a great job at qb this year without getting any credit. he may not be flashy or a huge playmaker, but he keeps the offense on track. he is an excellent role player who has contributed a lot to their success.
  15. i didn't say he wasn't a good man, but that doesn't make him a good coach. it's not a case of everyone turning on him. a lot thought he wasn't qualified to begin with. he just needed more experience and to develop some better leadership skills before being handed a varsity coaching job. east was looking pretty good there for a while and he got hired on the merits of his brother, not his own.
