Dang proud of this kid... Shoot i'm proud of all the boys who go on to play ball at the college esp the ones we've played against. Darrell Bailey is down at Sputh Florida (he started last yr OLine i think he's hurt this yr) Wyatt Ruterson is at Union then there's McKinney at EKU. Coalfield has a Twitter Page that I keep up with him on. But back to Holden I'm glad MTSU is starting to use him... If he stays healthy and keeps getting the ball I think he can try out for the next level just my 2cents though

Oh its sad to see Barn... i've reached out to a couple people and no body knows anything. But they got a website up... just a HC and several assistants listed, No OC, DC or nothing like that (at least the last i saw)

Well with a vote of 8-2 (or 7-3?) big brother knew what was best for little brother and Tommy Clemmer is our head coach... we can say the fix is in all we want but if all the people that were crying and complaining won't show up then this is exactly what will continue to happen. To all our friends at other schools "Guard your house" is about all to have stay & keep your school board members in check

Its starting to look like it... less than 10 ppl showed up to the workshop so the "main" ppl on the board just played dumb while a couple ppl spoke. Actual meeting is next week, hopefully there's a packed house.

Jess, You and I talked yesterday on FB so listen i love ya and i do know most of these guys will still support Greenback Football, if they choose to go else where ok fine, and sure the boys dont need see some of it but alot it they do. B/c this is not about showing support or not, its about the admin and elected officals and whoever else is involved, simply does not care what you, your boys or us key board warriors on coacht and FB have to say... In reality voicing your opinion counts just about as much as me voicing mine... Thats how much this admin respects you as a parent! I'm no parent, yet... but to me that should infuriating... stop "voicing your opinions" and start "demanding to be listened too and given an explanations of why this decisions were made" these are public officals for crying out loud! (And no i'm talking about the "its what was best for the kids" line either) b/c right now they dont care one bit what we think (we being players, parents and esp us fans.lol) b/c IF this hire is true its nothing but big double barrel middle finger to all of us GREENBACK FOOTBALL FANS and telling us we need to shut and sit down, we know whats best! Like i said Jess, I see what your saying about these posts and boys i'm sry but some stuff you just need to over look (thats emotions mostly imo) this is not about if we support em or not, we do! This about the admin and how they have allowed this fiasco and where this next coaching hire can take these boys... So i'm not going to be quite about criticism toward them and this "committee" not b/c i want the attention (thats the last thing i want) i'm not gonna be quite b/c they simply dont respect any of us, especially you and your parents! How do i know this? Well you'll see who you get as coach tomorrow afternoon at the team meeting (Gosh i hope that were all wrong) vs who it could of been (And NO i'm not talking just about Greg Ryan, there were plenty of other very well qualified coaches that didnt even make the interview list) that i know for a fact. But hey if parents are willing to take it on the chin and not hold these ppl accountable then so be it... We'd been better off if we'd kept Coach E esp from a role model standpoint.

So I made the FB post Sunday in support of Ryan but the stars didnt align... Now i will do the same for Zack Rayl when i meet him. He is our coach now! We're very optimistic and ready to support him. I truly believe everyone will get behind him... i hope he'll let me still be apart of twitter page, i look forward to meeting the guy.

Good for him sounds like a great guy and we will get behind the hire whoever it is accepts... I know i will. Day #1 lets go to work My issue is not with Rayl's Resume at all, yes there's alot of Qs esp offensive Qs i have but those would be answered later on... the main issue we have is with admin and elected officals who have completely "railroaded" the hometown guy... the guy that made GB a powerhouse in 1A. So i apologize to Rayl's family i can only speak for myself, my beef is 100% not with him at all... its with this so called "search committee" (and county politicians) that are NOT listening to the players and definitely not listening to the fan base and ramming this down our throats! B/c if they were listening we wouldnt even be on here now having this conversation. And to make it worse, some of the ones doing it are Greenback people. Which just burns even more. So please dont come on here telling us how to feel and to do our homework, we know the kids a good player/coach... Riverdale prob just dont draw names out of the hat. Congrats you're the DC. There just happens to be another canidate that we know and have experience with (see post above) thats been railroaded by personal feelings/agendas and we're gonna try and get some answers... why?

They've pretty much made their beds and its not in GRs favor.... i sent emails to 4 committee members today just being nice and respectful asking them to pick GR. But now after reading this "stuff" i started calling our School Board Rep Phil Moffett (no answer) to ask questions. He's actually 1 of the 6 on the so called "search committee" how the heck does he not pick Greg... he must be going along with the school board b/c he dang sure aint in touch with his constituents. You can google the school board, school admins, find out their contact info and get to calling & emailing. Just be nice and be clear you want GR.

I'm gonna say the whole town, except a handful, want G back! If this so called committee & new admin dont pick Ryan, it will be very disappointing. It shouldnt take this long!

Rumor has it, some guy named Roy D. applied also all he had on his resume was something about having alot experience with recruiting and demanded that its in his contract he gets unlimited supply of grilled honey buns and ice cream from the Drug Store (the local diner in town) But that may just be coffee shop talk

Well I was hoping Santa would have brought us a "HC Job Posting" on the Employment Page but i guess that didnt happen. And IF this does happen I sure hope its NOT Summer 2023, hopefully it will be Jan/Fed 2023.
