Just wondering every body's thoughts on Sequoyah's football team this year. Are you satisfied with the outcome? the effort? The new coach?

I do believe that Greenback will pull this one out in the last few minutes. or they could just blow them out like they have almost everybody else this season. but we'll see on friday night. either way i do believe that greenback will win this. if grace wins, then i do believe its an upset. Greenback is just too good. I watched them friday night against hampton and they just slaughtered them. they had the scrubs in by the beginning of the 4th quarter. something greenback hasn't done much this year. so my prediction, 'Kees-27 GC-13

Yeah Greenback would be awesome to schedule next year or in the years to come... I think by next year it would be a good game because Greenback is losing ALOT of their seniors that are starters this year and the 'Kees underclassmen will have to step up a play some football. On the other hand, Sequoyah will also lose alot of Seniors, however we have a great JV team that has proven they are pretty good. So i think it would be a good matchup!

This year the Greenback Cherokees are undefeated. A GREAt turnaround from years passed. What are your thoughts on Greenbacks playoff chances. They have got a great passing game with Senior Bunky Vanskiver. There offensive line is one of the best in the state... At their homecoming game last week, Vanskiver was never sacked. He was hurried once to the sideline where he made an excellent pass to his Senior reciever Chase Vough. So tell me your thoughts on Greenback football this year.

Well both teams are very good. However, MC killed us in our game earlier in the year. They've got a great passing game and high school defenses in general aren't very good defending the pass... On the other hand Polk County has a great running game. But in high school sports, if you have a passing game at all, you're doing pretty good... So I would have to go with Polk...

The Sequoyah Chiefs Football team has made a great turnaround from last year. We are not having a winning season but we have won 3 games so far this year. More than we have in a season in the past 4 years. Do you believe we are on the comeback trail??? Yes or No.
