  1. So back to the game people Powell wins
  2. Alright man we will see what happens with that
  3. I seriously think Powell has this game. It will be a tough one but i believe Powell will get it done. Rhea Countys defense can be ran on and Kier Houston will use that to his advantage. And another thing that most people dont notice is Powells receivers might not be the biggest or fastest but they know how to block their man and make gaps for their backs or Kier. Also most coaches are gonna have the linebackers/secondary try and stop the run and Powell will keep them off guard with the pass. And Powells receivers can make some plays (Tall and fast for the deep ball or short and shifty up close) With Coach Lowe calling the plays (hopefully not too conservative) the offense can be really good, the skill is there. They have worked hard for it. If both sides of the ball are clicking ,like they should, Powell is a team to knock you off your feet with their talent. So basically what im saying is if Powells defense makes the plays, makes the stops, and makes the big hits and gets the offense the ball and the offense does their part and puts points on the board, Powell Will Win! 4. Nope I dont diss Powell I Just know Powell thats why the final was 28-21 i was off by one tochdown
  5. Well as of right now, it was and prolly still is coming down pretty hard. The rain could affect both teams so it should be intersting to see how this one unfolds. Im predicting- Powell-28 Walker Valley 14
  6. Whats the weather supposed to be like?
  7. So your saying if Powell scores early and gets a good lead, which i think they will, WV tends to give up?
  8. Powell after receiving home-field advantage will host Walker Valley in the first round. After doing a little bit of research on Walker Valley, I think Powell will come out on top. Powells defense is excellent at making the other teams offense make mistakes. And from what I've heard, thats what tends to happen to WV. Fumbles, INTs, And a slower but big line could hurt them, depending on how they play. #3 Kier Houston has really stepped is game up and is gonna need to even more this game. WVs defense tends to stay back and not blitz as much. So makin good choices is key to this victory. Im hopin for a big night out of Andrew Hansen, like he had against Clinton, Tyler Drummer, and Devin Collins. So if defense does their part and offense does theirs Powell will win especially with the home-field advantage.
  9. Powell will win this battle my friends. Im Sorry
  10. It Should be an interesting game and i believe both teams are fighting for home-field playoff advantage, which will increase the intensity of the game. Clinton is one of those teams i consider a dual-threat team. Cause un-like many other teams in the area that are solo based(They either run 90% of the game or pass 90%).Clinton does both. Although Clinton does have plenty of offensive threats, in the end Powells defense, if they continue to play like they have, should be able to control the game and make stops when they need it. So its up to Powells offense to win this one in my eyes. I think this battle will last all four quarters til the final seconds to decide the winner. Should be good.
  11. i think powell will win because the defense is improving since the beginning of the season. three key factors 1) speed off the line, my example #86 Will Barnes and clintons suspensions could hurt them. 2) The all around defensive threat of #5 Anthony Phillips. 3) The dominating #8 Joe Cardio putting up good amounts of tackles every game. On offense, of course, Kier Houston has been havin a great season in the air and on the ground. Tyler Drummer and Devin Collins are excellent at making plays at the right time. Watch Out For The Go Routes. Also the short routes in Andrew Hansen could keep Clinton off their guard. Final Score- Powell 35 Clinton 28
