South 38 - GV - 21. I think the rebs come out hard and fast and for once put somebody on their heels in the playoffs. The downfall of one or the other will be turnovers I'm just thinking it will be GV's downfall.

If I were stacey I would come out and if I get decent field position I would mix it up and throw on the first drive. I expect GV to put 8 in the box so this gets them off balance and allows for a quick start. Now if I get bad field position I might mix it up more and try and just stuff it down GV's throat. Assuming option one doesn't work and we put get them in a position where we play on a shorter field thus when we get in the later part of the game we can run the ball and thus time of possession would be in our advantage. I think this game is the one where you want the ball first to make a statement.

So lets get serious for a minute and those of you that haven't posted your pick post between today and friday morning. I'm still stewing mine over but if you are ready to put it out there go for it. I will have mine out there by tomorrow evening as I will be mobile in a car for 9 to 10 hours on Friday driving to the tricities to visit for TG next week. I'm hoping to see two football games while I'm there one with Rebs and one with Rebs X 2 in the other.

I would think Stacey might do to GV what you guys did to TN high early in this game. Been a few guys that haven't been catching a lot of balls this year getting some in the past few weeks. I think each team will kill you if you put 8 in the box and if you back off they will run it down your throat. Its really going to be about mistakes and who takes advantage IMO

Really I think they look a lot like south when you compare the weapons.

South must tackle better and if they can get some db's up into the face of these wideouts they can dissrupt the short passing game a bit. I think if you want to take advantage of either south or greenville you spread them out and use quick strike offense....now the question is who defends it the best this week.

Two good teams and Greenville let a card out of the deck this week with the 200+ passing.....something a few didn't see coming.....I think its possible that card was played one hand too soon.

Hats off the classy East and Indian fans in this thread I think in the end we are all football fans and everyone got to see some real guts and ball last night for sure.

Congrats to Greeneville and Sullivan South on their victories tonight.....so whats it going to be next week on the rug.

Had I not seen the score and seen ME with 399yds of total O and south only 319 I wouldn't have believed it. Pure heart from those kids tonight. ME jumped in there good in the first 1/2 but solid EXECUTION and a good adjustments proved to much not to mention some good old hard nosed heart. Congrats to those south kids and everything they went through this week I know it was tough and lets carry that second 1/2 of football down to exit 30 and kick some tail next friday as this Reb is coming home from St Louis for the holiday and wants to see some football.
