Just wanted to start discussion. Looks like the Memphis Y and Travelers are totally loaded, and Team Nashville is pretty good. Anybody else a factor?

What happened to the Lady Panthers? Did they not get out of pool play?

Yeah, I'm sure it's a tough decision between those two programs.

Why is Garland listed on their roster? He does not play for them. Do all these other guys play for them, too?

I wasn't criticizing the Panthers, just making an honest observation of their talent level. Interesting that you were pretty quick to criticize three other programs on here. I don't know much about God's Chosen Few or the Hustle and their Adidias affiliation or lack of, so I won't comment. I know the Nashville Celtics have claimed that in the past and it wasn't true, but I can't honestly say if they are or or are not. Interesting comments about the Travelers. Pretty impressive track record there. The "best team money can buy" comment is pretty funny. Nike invited them to participate in these tournaments, so I'd say they are doing the smart thing by going to these places.

Looks like a decent sub-state type team.

Are they any good this year?

I have seen several websites and posts on here from different teams that say they are sponsored by Adidas - Team Hustle, ET Pyro, Nashville Celtics. I find it hard to believe that Adidas is sponsoring three teams in Tennessee, so I just would like to know for sure who is and who is not sponsored by Adidas. I was wondering the same thing about Nike, but I was able to find that through the Nike site and that cleared that one up. Those teams are the YOMCA and the Travelers. I know there has been some argument about that as well. I read an article a few months ago about Adidas making big cuts to their summer basketball sponsorships, so this just didn't seem right to me. Just wanting that cleared up if possible.

Thought Blackwell and Robinson were with the Celtics. What happened?

The Celtics are tyring to get a shoe company sponsorship, hopefully with Nike. But that doesn't look too good right now for them.

Yeah, but Real Deal is shell of its former self. Decent championship, but I wouldn't call it a major one. Their 15's play selfish and don't guard anybody, and their 17's have a lot of talent but don't get as much out of it as they should, as usual with them. Winning a pool at Real Deal isn't that big of a thing. Playing at Riverdale hardly qualifies as good competition. Still not a lot of stability in that program. 16s are the only group that really looks like any kind of team. Kid from Alabama is a pretty good player.

No clue, but thier 15's are coached by Blackwell, and his son plays on the team. Lot of kids from last year off that team are trying to find somewhere else to play. That team will probably look strong on paper, but will fall apart before July. They usually do.

With the returning group, coach Smith in his second year, and Slay transferring in, how will next season go? Do we have the horses to beat Webb?
