Quite possibly the luckiest no-hitter ever thrown. Ever. Congrats to Hamiltion, but I've seen him pitch on JV and he eithers gets ripped or can't throw a strike to save his life. Still, it's an accomplishment to no-hit the defending state champs.
Even if Watson DID pitch against Farragut, the score still would've been around 12-0 instead of 15-0. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Siegel is not as good as you think they are.
I agree with whoever said if Bearden continues to play like they did against AE and Oak Hill, that they'll be pretty tough to beat. DeMonte Simpson is playing incredibly well right now, I would say he is one of the most dominant big men in the state.
Farragut's infield is stacked.
Stallings- Signed to Louisville.
Powell- Signed to Vanderbilt.
Delmonico- Only a sophomore, but sure to go D1 if he keeps improving.
Thoreson- Definite D1 recruit.
Not to mention Cooper and Pfeifer, two of the best pitchers in Tennesee and possibly the nation.
I just have to say... AE needs to stick to 2A. Even I, a Bearden student, thought that it would be a little closer than that. I felt like I went down to Farragut Middle School to watch Bearden play a CBFO All Star team.
And yes, Coach Carter is probably one of the coolest teachers/coaches at Bearden.
