Of course I am a CPA fan.....but still need my basketball fix! So I was at this game. Lipscomb should have dominated, but they did not....until the end....which they do best! I have to say again their backseat players are their players....if it were not for #2 the redhead kid, #23, and the Bell kid Lipscomb would not being going to State! I have to be honest and say that I really didn't want Lipscomb to win, but they really deserve to be where they are and I commend them! That was hard to say! Go 9AA!

That is a pretty good take on 9AA....My team is a given, even though they have been very disappointing lately! Every pick is a given, but I am not sure about DL...they are the solid team with a diverse group of kids! I was the one defending my team...I now have no defense! I would have to say the DL All Tournament Team is up for grabs. Their whole starting team has their strengths and weaknesses. I think that Webb and Bell are the most consistent players...Sanderson and Simpson are the shooters...Only time well tell the end of this story! I am still counting on a CPA/DL game in district finals...I think that our team is going to play to win! The fire and chest beating....just wait...the fire is alive!

I also cannot wait for another match up between these teams. I like to watch Simpson and Sanderson play....however, I would put my money on Anderson and Miller against Sanderson and Simpson any game , any day! Sanderson and Simpson are not as consistent as Anderson and Miller. And Miller and Anderson definitely are stronger on defense! These four players will definitely not decide the win on this rival match up! I predict CPA #1 in District Tournament! Twilight 69 you are definitely overlooking some key players on CPA and DL maybe because you have a personal interest in two of your players, and I can guarantee you they will not beat CPA on their talent alone....but I can tell you for what it is worth.....I will take Z, Anderson, and Miller! They are three of the best players in 9AA!

Thanks for the info....I was curious about DL's team for next year. As for the District Tournament, I do not expect any surprises. Yes, I agree CPA and DL will have to show up to play. But there is no agrument that these two teams have the most overall team talent in the district. Every team in the district has their talented players, they just don't have the deep team talent that CPA and DL have. I am not saying it is going to be easy, but I do think that CPA and DL will come out #1 and #2. Hopefully in that order! Good luck to all 9AA teams, this season has flown by!

I agree that Hume Fogg and CPA are the hungriest, and you have to want it to get it! I am proud of our CPA girls!

DL does have the deeper team! I know Sanderson, Simpson, and Webb...all great players! I like to watch Sanderson and Simpson...Webb is strong underneath the basket and can shoot outside as well. Is Andrews #21...I don't think that is the name that another CPA dad told me. Anyway...#21 is a starting guard, I was told that he is a junior...HE is DL's secret weapon. I have seen DL play in other games besides CPA and #21 is a great player offensively and defensively! Especially defensively. He is a TEAM player and great passer. DL should have a great team again next year with Sanderson, #21, and some other good junior players. With that said, I think that DL will go farther than last year, but not as far as CPA...at least not this year. Next year will be a different story!

We definitely need to step up the defense! Defense wins ballgames! Our offense is hard to beat, but our WHOLE team doesn't seem to want to play defense. Defense will decide whether or not we make it to State!
