I will say that I definitely agree with you guys, I spoke too strongly about the fact that the best team won, I really meant and wanted to emphasize more on the fact that its just winning when it counts that make you a great team! thanks for the district 15 support! Go Lady Lions!!!

I wish I had more information to compare but all I know is Chat had a very impressive big win over RBS last night!

I don't think 15A got to see the best from 14A....I would have liked to have seen Lake County and Greenfield match-up with Middleton and Scotts Hill....Just because those two didn't make it to this point in the season doesn't mean they weren't the best teams....They just weren't the best teams that particular night they lost.... Part of being the better team is winning when it counts, I will admit that Greenfield and Lake County were probably extremely good teams but the idea that the best teams didnt make it to substate is not true......are you going to say that "the best team didnt win the state championship....the opponent just had a bad night!".......no you wouldnt say that so there is no point in saying it for the region semi games!

Scotts Hill's gym was packed out as I knew it would be, why wouldnt evey person from the tiny community come out to watch the Lady Lions jump over a 20 year hurdle!!! Good luck Lady Lions!!!

apparently you have only seen the 14a teams play?? Yes, but I've talked to a coach that knows what he's talking about and this coach saw the Middleton/Scotts Hill District championship. I was told it was brutal to watch because both teams offset each other. I was told Scotts Hill could shoot the ball, but couldn't dribble well. I was told Middleton could dribble well, but couldn't shoot well. If this is the case, Scotts Hill will have ALOT of trouble with Humboldt's speed and athleticism. Hey, all I can say is go out and prove me wrong. Don't worry about what people think on here, just prove it. Yes its their first time!!! Tracy Chandler has been coaching them for 20+ years and has had unfortunate luck in substate games, 0-6! 5 of those were at home too, but we finally pulled one out tonight!!! It was an awesome night at Scotts Hill High School, the place was electric for all 32 min of basketball!!! Good luck Lady Lions!!!!

The reason teams have been struggling of late to shoot well againts us is because we have been playing great defense and on top of that we have really cut down on letting opponents have too many second shots, if we keep that up we should be ok! the HOME court advantage for both Scotts Hill and Gleason is going to be pretty incredible, i dont know much about Gleason this year but what I do know is 4 years ago we had to travel to Gleason for a substate game........MISREABLE!!! we took a very very very good team to gleason that year and it is ABSOLUTELY insane in there! im so glad we dont have to go back to that torture chamber......WE GET TO CREATE OUR OWN!!!

Couldnt have said it better myself Copeland!!! I did see on here where Humboldt had a large lead on Gleason late in the fourth quarter the other night but the pressure got to them and they took bad shots and missed layups! the one thing I know will be at the game Saturday night for Humboldt is PRESSURE! It is going to be madness at the Hill for sure but like you said we are going to have to continue to play good defense and rebound! Our girls have made it this far on rebounding and defense, if they keep that up then they should pull it out Sat night! Good Luck LADY LIONS!
