Don't get me wrong, Shires is a great wrestler. But McDaniel would be my pick for the best P4P wrestler at the tournament this weekend. He will probably pin or get bonus points in every match.

Wooten is fun to watch. He has flown under the radar most of the year.

(Harrison's boys) CBHS is sending 10 or 11 to preseason nationals in Iowa this weekend.

The boys will just have to settle who is buying.

If McCallie bumps, the score will be no more than a 5-6 point spread on the 06-32 matches. It will be tough to win more than 2 matches after that. CBHS will get bonus from several of the big boys. I will be like Scott and be a homer, but don't want to put my predictions out there yet. But I will buy Scott's first round Friday night if they prevail.

I wish every tournament was run on track.

I don't see any Clarksville kids signed up in the youth event. I am sure if there were participants and a request, they would have set up a satellite location.

They actually only charged $20.00 on track.

I am always reluctant to enter a tournament that does not release a wrestler list or a matrix. I was considering entering my son in the Dixie Duals youth tournament, but with no info decided not to make a long journey on the hopes of a good bracket. I will bump him up a weight class or an age division to get the toughest competition. That doesn't help his record any, but I believe it makes him a much better wrestler in the end. We don't have that option when there is no information available. He is already registered for SYN because he had 8 others in his bracket when the list was available. I am not sure we would drive 7+ hours if I had not known anything about his bracket.

Lost Camera. We lost our camera at the tournament Saturday. It was a Sony NEX 5N with an extra lens. If anyone found it please let me know. The camera is valuable, but the pictures are irreplaceable.
