Seen her play and she is an amazing 3rd baseman! Bat is pretty good too. I'm one to give kudos to people who deserve it...even when they beat you!

William Blount looked really good Saturday. Their pitching and defense was solid. Heritage's pitching was good, but the defense was terrible! Lot's of errors! Heard quite a few girls were gone to Ridgecrest. Hope they step it up on the defensive side of the ball!

Just curious as to what your snitcher snitched about? I know some of the girls on the team and can't imagine what the problem could be.

I know Father Ryan played in the Gibbs Invitational in Knoxville and lost to Heritage 5-0 and lost to Siegel 2-0.

I agree with you on a pitcher needing more than speed. My DD does not have great speed, but her junk pitches are really good! Unfortunately, speed is the first thing a lot of coaches notice! When we traveled over the summer/fall, she had a teammate that had a really good fastball and a changeup and the other teams rocked her! The key is keeping the batters off balance by throwing a lot of different things at them. Just a thought.
