    Congratulations

I remember seeing you practice at the old Fulton Tournament years ago. I knew you were going to be good then. IF you live long enough and Weave doesn't drive you crazy, you might get to a thousand. You have had a major impact on softball in Tennessee. Congratulations. Coach D.
  14. All Academic Team It is time to select the 2007 All Academic Team. MTSCA wants to honor students who not only excel on the softball field, but excel in the classroom. The All Academic Team will be acknowledged for their accomplishments June 13th at MTSCA's All Star game which will be played at Middle Tennessee State University. The All Academic Form can be printed from our new website mtsca.org. Please fill out all necessary information, and both coach and guidance counselor must sign the form. The criteria for selection is on the form and listed below. 1. Coach must be a member of MTSCA. 2. Player must be a junior or senior. 3. Athlete must have a GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale. MTSCA realizes that schools have different grading systems, and that some students take honor's classes which may affect their GPA. It is up to the guidance counselor to make the equivalent changes to see if the player makes the 3.75. If the guidance counselor signs the form, MTSCA will not question it. Last day to turn in the form is Feb. 20th. Please fax to Gary Davis at 615 - 386 - 7624.
