Hitting is not simple. It's very mental. Step early then allow your hands and the velocity of the ball to do the work. Stepping early is important. It will help you hit off speed pitching. If your foot is down early then the rest is all hands.

I know of a candidate that is from East Tennessee that plans to apply for the job. He coached at Tennessee Wesleyan College and at a school up north but plans to apply for the job. I'm not certain what type of shot he has, but he has a pretty decent resume.
