Coached in TN for 20+ years now in FL for 10+ You should look at Florida's High School system now. It is crazy and no one knows how it works. No more district regular season games and unapproved website ranks everyone in the their region classification. You have to get your own schedule, 25 games, Rankings are based on strength of schedule, and strength of schedule of your opponents, plus your record. We have 8 classifications in basketball. 1A is 600 students or less and a rural zip code. 8A made up of mostly schools in south FL. Privates and Public still together but mostly in 2A-4A. Schools can petition to play up or down depending on enrollment and area. It used to be top 2 made it out of district made playoffs, then region qtr., semi and final determined final four going to state. only 4 making it to Lakeland. Now in new system district tournament winners are guaranteed to make playoffs and the next 4 highest ranked by unapproved website makes it to region. One region game this year had Pensacola playing in Orlando for region semi-final game, same as Knoxville to Memphis distance. Long story short at least you know what you are getting by TSSAA classes 3 or 4. No one will explain unapproved website system in FL

Has the Unionville position been announced yet? The position is on the Bedford County website but not on TSSAA site.

What is the situation at Eagleville? Any word of that job being posted?

What are the dates for the district tournament and who Host? Seeding looks like #1 Cookeville #2 Rhea #3 Warren 4-6 ???

Where are the play days this weekend and who will be playing?

I would not trade coaching my daughter for anything. Being in a school that is a K-12 school in FL we moved there when she was in the 8th grade. She liked basketball from Oct.-Feb. not so much in the off season and that drove me crazy. We had one rule, I was coach at school, but when got in the car for the 30 minute ride home we would not talk basketball unless brought it up. We had our ups and downs for sure. It was all worth it to see her jump around when we won the State Championship. She turned down a JUCO scholarship to go to cosmetology school. It worked out just fine.

What is going on with the Clinton Lady Dragon's? Can they turn this program around?

Kimberly Borum would be a great choice if she would come home from Florida. Great young coach a grad of Harriman. Husband a football coach and Special Ed teacher. Great Family ties to the school.

Watched Cannon Co. dismantle the #3 ranked single A school then beat the top ranked AA teams in FL. Coach Dodgen has done a great job with his girls. They play hard, execute his plan, shoot it so well and just flat out do the little things to win.I wish them luck the rest of the season. Coach Dodgen a great young coach keep up the great work. Finished the championship off with ease.Congrats

Thanks riverdale man for knowing I am in sunny Florida. I miss all the people at Riverdale. When Mr. Nolan calls it the greatest in State of TN he is not kidding. Tell Coach Maxwell-Hodges and Coach Broadway Hello and all the girls I miss them. I can't wait to come back to see them play for a gold ball. Will things every die down on here about the Riverdale?
