The word on the street is Elam won't be back for Bearden's goal keeper position next year. Hope he does, but i think he's not coming back. Also i see Farragut, Bearden, and Oak Ridge battling for the 2 spots to state out of the East Tennessee Area.

Seldon, What is that supposed to mean. "You'd know it if I was". Is that some kinda threat or just a comment that you wanted to scare me with. I am so sick of you Crause and your comments about Bearden's parents and fans. Why don't u also mention that it was one of Bearden's parents who took their time and professional knowledge to examine your sons knee after he injured it in the McMinn County game. That was pretty classy and kind of them. I can't believe u have the gaul to criticizes Bearden's fans and players. And if i remember correctly didn't u make a fool of yourself after the Region game when Bearden won 2-1 as you were complaining that the refs handed Bearden that game and screwed Farragut over. That wasn't very classy of you now was it.

Okay, that comparison between Bearden and CBHS with Ridgeway isn't accurate. That was Bearden's third game in less than 24 hours. Makes games a bit harder. Ridgeway however only played a game a day in that tournament.

Wow Seldon! Why'd you have to go off on me like that. Geez man. I wasn't making any arguments, just stating how the third goal came around and that it stinks the game pretty much ended on a PK. Relax, i said congrats to Farragut and it's over. Get off my back man, do you have to have a last word with everything or something.

Seldon, congratulations to farragut on the win. But the last goal however for farragut resulted from the controversial PK. Because of that, Bearden pushed almost everyone up trying to tie the game leaving just the sweeper. It's pretty easy to score in that situation(almost like an empty netter in hockey). Had the game still been tied, Bearden would have been playin their regular formation and i think both teams can agree that goal wouldn't have come like it did. That PK changed the entire game, but it's over. Congrats to farragut, there's no doubt they worked hard. It just sucked that the game was decided by a PK. Each teams played incredible. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same teams next for the state championship game.

Bearden 4-1. Im disappointed in the lack of storied traditional state teams at state this year. Bearden, Houston, and Farragut seem to be the only big programs their. I thought state being re-done was supposed to bring more big programs and better competition. Im not trying to be negative to the other schools that made it (Congrats to them and good luck), just wondering what happened to Brentwood, Hendersonville, Germantown, Clarksville, Franklin, Gallatin, Science Hill, and other traditional powerhouses in the state of soccer. Hope the teams there make it a great tournament.

Well farragut would have to play houston in the second round of state. Bearden can face farragut or houston in the finals.

Titansfan..........Bearden and hendersonville can't play in the final four because they will play in the first round when their are eight teams.

yes, both have played against national ranked teams...... thats why those teams are no longer ranked nationally......bearden played cbhs last year anyways and won......and played hendersonville last year in preseason and won 9-0...........farragut played two teams from GA were at one point ranked nationally this season......also when bearden beat ridgeway and houston, they were both ranked nationally [Edited by bhswins41 on 5-1-03 5:12P]

I know its wrong to blame stuff on the ref, but what do you guys think about some calls and none calls. I personaly have had him many times and I think hes one of the worst. And no im not saying it was his fault we lost, but man he stunk what do you guys think. And the red card I dont know about that.

Bearden and Farragut CAN play each other in the Finals and i sure hope they do.

Bearden vs. Farragut got cancelled, got washed out. Not sure when game will be made up yet.
