My biggest question is when a team beats 2 of the top 3 teams, How can they remain 5 or 6 places above that team. It just doesn't make any sense.

I think your computer was absent that day the history lesson was given on Lincoln County. They are the only team in the 90's to win TWO 5a state championships other than Riverdale. LC has as many state championships as Riverdale. They are the only team to beat them twice in 2 years. They've been in the playoffs every year since 1991. What has Franklin done with their history or the other 5 teams in front of LC? I really don't know.

you need to take out an insurance poliy on that team in case something were to happen to them since they are the only team that you can beat.

Lawrence Co couldn't even win their district, whitch is pretty weak this year since Cody Hale and Dustin Lynch have moved on to college.

Bands are as much a part of High School football as the football team. They should be able to have their own section.

Statman, I just loved the way that Lincoln Co. kept the PA anouncer quiet for most of the night and he can be very obnoxous and they turned the lights out so fast we barly had time to get out of there. The scoreboard went off imediately, nobody was going to get a picture of visitor having more points than Riverdale. How sweet it was!!!

Riverdale likes to use artificial noisemakers to distract opposing teams. Such as air horns and cow bells. In college the fans can be penalized. What's the rule in High School? Air horns could be mistaken for a refree's whistle and could cause a player to get injured.

It cost a $1 to park at Riverdale

The play where Riverdale got their 2nd touchdown right before the half was about as controversial as the one with the illegal shift. The player may have fumbled before he crossed the inzone. Any way it was a great game and the best team tonight won. Streaks don't last forever. It was a good run. Riverdale has my respect.

Both of these coaches have been competitors way too long and neither has ever thought of teaching their players to harm, hurt or injure a player from another team. they both have way too much class for that.

We got plenty to do in Lincoln County. We can hunt, and fish an run a trot line. A country bo can survive! You can't make us hide and you can't make us run!

Where is Jeff Hall former UT kicker and national champion? If it wasn't for him UT would not be a national champion. I know he can kick under pressure.

All I have to say is : Falcons stay focused! Quit reading polls! Polls mean nothing with a playoff system. Concentrate! Don't turn the ball over and cause stupid penalties and I guarentee victory! Refuse to lose!!

Lincoln County will be bringin the PITT with them Friday night. Expect a record crowd.

It's not that Smyrna looked bad it's that Riverdale's defence look good. Defence wins games. They are fast, quick, and swarm to the football. They also know how to knock it loose. I was impressed. I hope Lincoln County wins but they better be ready.

Will the week off help or hurt Lincoln County before they travel to Riverdale next week. I'm sure they were either at the game with Smyrna or watched it on TV. Any comments on this one?

If Lincoln Co is gonna have a chance they've got to hold on to the ball! I hate to go to a field with a track around it!
